    We had discussion earlier on using 20w50 oil for ZMA since bajaj recommends for Pulsars. It is a thicker oil and helps the engine to stand viscosity even at higher temperature. However, I had not used one personally. Also, might think if anyone planning to do so. With regards to Synthetic 20w50, sorry have no personal experience.

    Aneesh you know well we had this discussion and found 20w40 oil is suitable and good as it is thicker than 10w30. Also it helps better in reducing heating issue, gear shift and engine smoothness. Remember couple of members tried gulf and reported the benefit derived out of it?
    The trail of consequences what I meant was early drain period and HH 10w30 is among the worst and that in my personal experience. If you are confident that it (Honda 10w30 oil) meets the standards, please trying out and post your comments here. Might throw light on the practicality. If something reasonably good shall be shared to others benefit.

        Ohh... Sorry,One of my friend told me that FS oils are a lot better than Minerals,Thats why i asked it,anyway dont feel bad,just wanted to know about that,will continue using Gulf Pride 4T Plus 20W40. Pardon me guys

          yeah took it to the service centre at the very first month after delivery!! sick of their reply!!they not even bothered about this issue and said that it is very common in all zma! my uncle's 2010 zma's silencer belly is faaaaarrrrrrrr better than mine!!! this is what killing me!?!?!anyways..learned to live with it and taking atmost care to safeguard it!

            same here saw even 5 - 6 year old zma 's with better silencers .

              Am not particular about Vega - just want something good and good looking . Visor aids when there's rain or when you have a cold .

              Just a change in exhaust to FFE will give you increase in power - and I think decrease in FE .

                i asked him twice , he told me that rs 1200/rs 1400 is for old zma r ... the new one comes for aprox rs 2200 .. lets see what insure guy have to say ... ...

                cowl is not broken ... fiber body ghis gaya hai ... as my bike dragged on road.

                i dont have the latest pic ... but i have uploaded a pic n in that i have marked it with circle... on the right side fender two red circles ... only the fibers is rubbed ... not visible from a distance but as its my new bike ... i thought of changing it !!!

                  As per the pic the indicator lens is also damaged. IIRC it will cost you nearly 240rs for the lens and 1200rs for the right cowl,But a new doubt raised,Did the new cowl came with a sticker?If yes then i think the price of the sticker is also included in the cowl. Do you have bill?

                    I think that is correct . Today I checked out Vega (MX) helmets and all the ones at HH didn't have visors . The ones of Bieffe did but they looked "ugly" compared to Vega . I asked the lady there 'Why is it that good looking helmets don't have visors and ones with visors look ugly?' and she couldn't stop laughing ..!

                    Its not only about being ugly, Its hard to lift the visor, since they'r kinda fixed.

                    No probs bro. I change from 10w30~20w40 all the time, thanks to careless SVC's.

                    Sir you mean TVS Brake Fluid?

                    TVS brake fluid, i believe its the cheapest. Cause I went to "Palayamkunnu" today and even the local hardware shops had it.

                    Here visor seperate costs 150rs. And vega goes well with ZMA, atleast since both my bike as well as helmets BLACK!!!

                    Bro, have you tried the STUDD motocross helmet, though abit expensive its way cooler and looks more sturdy, one of my friends(@Aneesh - Kotayam karan) with ZMA uses it and has survived multiple accidents with it.

                    10w30 has its benefits as well, but it limits our bike to the street alone, cause when taken on the highway the bike tends to gets hot, and I dont mean that in a good way.

                    Just a change in exhaust to FFE will give you increase in power - and I think decrease in FE .

                    Yup. Due to the change in compression(or atleast I think so ).

                      Its better you leave it alone, cause the first spill's always special. You'll realize my point later on.

                        Do you think Honda will lock up 1.7 Bhp in Exhaust and refuse to give the power to it's customer ?...won't it be a big selling point,and is better than all the stickering they do to call the same bike by a different model.

                        You don't have to say sorry,and it is not warranted.....I felt lost because we had discussed in detail about the pros and cons of different grade and type of oil along with the certification and what it means...and I thought I had reached people..at least you with whom I had shared various in-depth details....

                              yeap the new crowl will include the sticker too !!! ... i dont have one ... i just have glance of it when i went to submit my originals ... let the insurance guy inspect the bike if everything is going fine and the amt of comes under my budge then i ll go for the crowl other wise will drop that ... as its not that bad ...

                              and please tell me about FFE ... ????
