Sir can you provide us with the necessary data required to perform this successfully.

And sir, I have one more query.
Can this be done only while upshifting?? Cause am not much sure about bikes, but in cars it can only be done while upshifting.

Upshifting can be done at most RPMs , it is while downshifting that the gears are likely to get damaged if not done properly...Straight cut gears are much easier to shift than splined gears because of spline pattern.

End of the day it is WISER to shift while disengaging clutch than with out clutch.A damaged or worn clutch requires opening the clutch case and replacement of clutch plates..maximum Rs.1500/-...downtime will be one day......a damaged gear will require Splitting Crankcase and replacement of gear and other broken parts, which the broken piece would have damaged..cost =cost of broken gear+crankcase opening &closing labour= not less than 3,000/-... down time ...till you get the replacement gear+ two days for splitting and assembling crankcase.
      You decide which you prefer.

          • Hi guys, ignore if this is off topic. What could be the ideal price for a Krizma R, 1 year old, good condition, single owner? The seller is asking 72k

If the fairing and everything else's intact and the bikes ran below 15K then the price'll for sure be 70k+.

Btw the price of intact 2005 ZMA's 40k. So it all depends on your selection.

Have noted it down sir. Will get it done sometime. Will call you before that.

Unless you put in Excess this will not happen...apply a thin coat ..say about 3mm width of the Three bond all around and it will seal ok.

And not exactly sure about it, just got the above info from the GS150R post.
AFAIK , there's no optimum RPM for clutchless gear change . If you try to improve clutch life you will proportionately shorten gear life . OT:In Yezdi bikes , there is a feature called 'auto-clutch' . The gear lever (which doubled as the kick-start lever) when depressed or pulled up to change gear does not allow gear to engage unless the lever comes back to normal position .

It's feasible , but not recommended . I had to do it on my previous bike when the clutch cable broke . Didn't go higher than 2nd gear , so was easy to stop - by putting into Neutral .

While upshifting , the higher gear requires lower RPM for the same or lower speed .

I think best results will be in between 55-60km/h.

                            Definitely.

                            Have to try it

It gets rid of the stupid chain noise and replaces it with popping sound, very funny to hear at higher speeds.

Theres no optimum RPM but theres a trick. In my zen we can disengage at any RPM and upshifting can be done at any RPM while slightly accelerating, but while downshifting we'd have to create a stable environment i.e not accelerating/de-accelerating it should be in the middle(way harder to do than put in words.). So was enquiring whether ZMA had any so tricks. But not interested anymore since psr sir advised about the replacement costs.

                            I bought my 13 months / 9500kms old ZMA R for 65000/-

That was a good sale, since the mileage's lower than 10k kms. Just to be certain, did you have to replace anything?

Where did you get this data from ? That means maximum mileage is got at 55 kmph . Is that correct ?

Hehe.... C'mon dont tell me you never paid attention to you'r speedo???

Max mileage is at 50 kmph ?

According to the ZMA speedo its at 55kmph, if we try riding at 50kmph at 5th gear then the RPM'l be below 3k and you know what'll happen when we ride like that on our roads. Engine will stall while riding on unsteady roads as well as lesser mileage caused by more gear shifts.
