Sir..even i too suffer with the same problem. I could hear some ticking sound from the engine when it is in the idling..If I accelerate it vanishes..During the first service i informed about it to the SVC guys and they told that it was rectified. But two days after the service the noise appeared. also, listening to a moron at the service centre who said that these are very minor problem and no need to worry about it, I drove my bike around 1200kms with this noise. yes...my bike gets heated usually and i can feel it in both of my legs..its time for 2nd service and i will surely insist them on this issue! thanks for clearing sir!!Originally posted by psr View Post"safety will be the sturdy child of terror, and survival the twin brother of annihilation"

Finally got my bike after replacing Stem oil seals.They changed oil to HH OEM 10W30,I didnt told them to change,but they accidently changed it.
Anyway now bike is butter smooth. 


Total charges for adjusting chain,stem oil seal replacement and oil change.520rs.

I have the 10W30 HH oil , Put by the HH asses ..
The Oil is ridiculous.Engine gets terribly heated up. Just waiting to drain it , I so got frustrated with the bike that , Left it and riding the R15 from 1 week.
How come ur happy with it?sigpic

Good till 300km?
I hated it the min i Changed to 1st gear.ThUd sound .. Developed hatred to it in 300meters .
10W30 best oil is Valvoline Fully SYnthetic .. Just brilliant.

If the ticking sound goes off with mild revving then the adjustment is minimal..the reason for the engine heating is the crap HH 10w30 oil,.... change it to any JASO MA2 20w40 oil and see...bike will run without much heating at even 110 Kmph.Originally posted by vivekarizma View PostSir..even i too suffer with the same problem. History of my bike + Probs. am facing.
Bought 3k'kms ago. Changed cam tensioner @ 2.5k. Reached 3k today. Facing CHIL CHIL sound from today. SVC says its valve noise.
And one more query.
I have no idea for what reason, but when I went to fix my crash guard, the guys messed with my clutch free play.
Now every time my bikes been static and after that when I turn her on and try to shift to 1st she fakes it, and as soon as I accelerate she comes back to neutral. I know this's a common issue on ZMA's but now am facing this way more than usual, say every time I power on my bike.
Yeah and one more thing. Say like 1 out of 50 times when I downshift from 5~1, everything goes smooth till 2 but when I try to shift to 1 the teeth start biting and grinding(like when we try to shift gears in a car while only applying 1/2 clutch) and bounces back to neutral or 2nd.

engine turns off
my bike shuts down suddenly even after 20+ kms riding when its in idling. It wont start unless i turn off the ignition and turn on again . It this a ignition timing prob or something else .on 4 wheels u feel the speed after a crash, 2 wheelers are much more advanced

Dunno about that - but as per my knowledge , W=amp x volt. And 55w H/L + 20w tail light => 6AH .The battery has to be charged as fast as it is being drained . Maybe his riding style is compensating for the battery drain .
A 6Ah MF battery can be placed under the seat.hehe.

Am facing the same issue once in a while . . . sort of embaressing some times !!

Check your clutch free play . .might be that what causes it .
