Karizma does not have an oil filter,Just a strainer like thing near the drain bolt and it will be cleaned during each oil change.

Also about point 7, can you do anything about it apart from shouting if such unfortunate event happens?
If the bike is yours and you are 100% sure that the damage is caused by the svc guys, then you can get the part replaced by shouting there or simply tell them"I am going to send a mail to Hero Moto"

    • Detailed guide on installing 'Crash Guard' on ZMA-R 2011.

      1. Get yourself a CBF125(with belly cowl) crash guard.

      2. Remove the part that holding the reflectors. 2 screws on frame, and 2 screws below fairing(same as the ones which hold the fairing in place).

      3. Take it to a Engineering shop and cut off the reflectors, and dont forget to apply primer on it. Then put it back.

      4. Remove the belly cowl, and also remove the horizontal bolt(the one on top). You'll get a similar bolt along with the crash guard ignore it, cause its useless.

      5. Now put the crash guard in place, and put the horizontal bolt back(the original one). It may seem as if it'll not fit. So just hammer both sides, and then fix the nut.

      6. Now put 'U' clamp and fix the nuts, now take a marker and mark the excess thread sticking out. Remove the 'U' clamp once more, take it to an engineering workshop and get it cut. And put the 'U' clamp back and tighten it.

      DONE.

Thank you! There were no mods needed but it went on with a bit of drama! The rear tyre has to be deflated or it will get stuck on the wheel flange and the bolts for the shockers on the swingarm. I had a MRF tyre that used to rub against the chain guard and so did the m45. I shoved a small rod between the tyre and chain guard and bent the guard a bit from the inside. haven't had much of a prob with it ever since. A wheel bearing needs to be replaced and i believe thats causing the angle problem. Couldn't find a bearing shop open on sunday.

I have a MotoD on my rx so im guessing the handling should be good on the zma as well. Bike is used quite roughly with a lot of fast riding on non-existant roads.

Regarding scratches or damages to panel you can certainly ask for replacement within warranty..

Thanks for explaining. So what should be cleaned while oil change? only the wire mesh filter near the drain bolt or the centrifugal filter too? Do they do it by themselves or you have to sit on their head to make them do that?

Wire mesh filter near the Drain bolt,AFAIK Centrifugal filter cleaning is not needed for a new bike and think of it only after doing 25k or more i guess..

Centrifugal filter or Rotor filter, is to be cleaned every 30k kms.

But for some strange reason, SVC's here do it on 1st service itself.

                      • second service done got bike back with few tiny tiny scratches . Noticed the chain lube hole lid missing and the rear tyre out of alignment had to go back to the svc again to get both fixed and they fixed it without saying a word and about the silencer color flake issue they said nothing can be done and its caused do to overheat no idea about that. Going to send a mail to zonal office soon regarding the issue.

If you cant even touch 65, check your clutch plates. How many kms have it run..? If cluch plate is gone, kicker will hardly work or maynot work. Change fork oil seal and then see if leaking from front shock occurs again... About the disc, what exactly is your problem.? Did you use genuine disc pad..?
