Yikes thats a hell lot. Thank god nothing broke the last time I slipped except for a few scratches though.

And I hope the crash guard takes the beating as planned, if it doesnt I may end up replacing the whole frame.

Yeah bro its abit smaller. And a little bit more away from the fairing.

And thanks for helping me make it through this ordeal.
Special thanks to you, aneesh, sriram, dsouza, psr, and everyone else who's running zma with a crash guard.

                      • Engine cowl

Last day I was riding the ZMA R @ 70 kmph and there were pretty strong winds . Suddenly I felt I had a flat - at a slight curve I couldn't lean the bike enough to make the curve . Feeling pretty sure that my front's gone flat ( rear has the Dunlop MONSTER,sort of new) I stopped at the roadside and checked . There was no flat in either of the tires . Then I realized it must've been the cross wind controlling the bike .
Did any one else have such experiences ? Is there a way to lessen the effect ?
The one thing that can be done is to remove the belly cowl . Or are there any other suggestions ?

Removing the belly cowl will improve ZMA's handling in cross, head on,tail or side wind ..

I know sir , I know that . But I kinda like the look with the cowl on . That's why I'm looking for an alternative . Would it help if I drill 'designer holes' (holes in a design or pattern so that it looks good) ? Sure it wont be as good as removing it , but would it be the next best thing to totally removing the cowl ?

BTW , I went out and bought a set of BOSCH H/L relay and harness kit . It cost a bomb when compared to local single bulb ones with self made harness . But since I'm not that enthusiastic in removing/connecting the fairing/panels of my bike I went in for the easiest way . The pic I'm attaching is self explanatory except for one thing - the plastic connector which has an H4 bulb like legs . Can you throw any light on that ?
Edit: It should be connected to the current bulb holder .
Checked it with my spare battery and it works fine )
