          Hearty welcome Vivek,and your White ZMA is Good looking..how many Kms have you done,what FE,and where are you from..a brief intro will help....and I am not very knowledgeable on ZMA just trying to learn as everyone else here...Everyone here had contributed to my knowledge base,and I am deeply thankful to them.Keep an open mind,learn all you can, and give back to the thread your knowledge.

            I am from royapuram, chennai and I bought my zma a month back sir. It has done 2800 kms and its due for 2nd service. I get roughly around 35 kmpl. the longest i did with my zma until now is 300 kms roughly to and fro vellore just to have a cup of tea. As per everyone's suggestion over here I am using Gulf pride 4t plus 20w 40 for the past 1000kms. also plonked in a Philips premium 55/60 after reading sriram's post a few weeks back. since then I was coming across battery drain issues, i have changed my tail lamps to 5/10w and the indicators to 10w with splender's flasher.now every thing seems to be fine. planing for a trip to bangalore soon on a calm weekend as i did with my Unicorn for nearly 10times.

              50/60 Philips premium is not the reason for battery drain...I think your battery terminals are no tight..The turn indicators are vital to your safety,so keep the rear ones at stock 21 watts and the front ones at 10 watts..similarly the brake lights are important...so keep them stock 5/21 watts each as stock.
              You re getting good FE and happy for you....Be careful of where you fill in petrol,as bad petrol can lead to various problems.

                just now checked my battery terminals sir and they seem to be fit n firm. previously if i use my head light for about an hour or so my horn gets weak, indicators would just glow still(wont blink or flash) and my self starter wont work and just makes my trip meter and clock to reset. That is the reason why i changed the bulbs as mentioned above and now its ok sir. if i charge my battery and shift back to the stock bulbs (indicators and tail lamps) will the battery drain occurs causing the above said problems sir??
                also from day 1 was filling my bike only in a BP bunk near parrys.

                      The 7 AH is no longer available, instead you can fit the 9 AH. HH had from 2011 changed the battery cage in Kaizma to a smaller size,so you can't fit any other battery other than 6 AH...But the old battery cage/holder will be available in SVC, which if you fit in your Karizma, then you can fit in the 9 AH also..

                        Guys i need help from you, especially for the 05 owners in Bangalore (Karnataka). I urgently need the tax break up of the bike when you bought it.

                        Ex-showroom price
                        Tax paid (Road Tax)
                        Insurance (if possible)

                        Total Price. Am transferring my bike documents from Delhi to Karnataka and hence need these details. I don't have the original tax receipt from the dealer and hence need these details.So if you could please provide the information i would be very great full.

                          Cause after moderate use the loads not completing resulting in the indicatiors to remain static.
                          To prove my theory when this happens remove the seat and try tapping the indicator relay with your hand.

                          Addition.
                          I've ran ROOT's wintone + 55/60W bulb... No probs...
                          Especially since am always careless to leave the headlights on when the engine off and sometimes even during the day.

                            i have been using 55/60 w headlight for my 2011 zma, as ashwin said its because the battery not charging properly get your battery checked

                              PM me your email ID. Ill send you a scanned copy of my bikes invoice dated 30/3/2005 from majestic motors. I have the RTO tax challan as well but i havent scanned it as yet. I think i have a scanned chalan copy of my 03 and 07 zma somewhere on my hdd. Will search

                              • Given bike to SVC for replacing Stem Oil Seals,Will get tomorrow,it was very busy today and there was small oil strain in the marked area,So the Service Manager told me to change something there,he said it costs less than 50rs,so i told him to change it,Not sure what he talked about,Its not an O-Ring . PSR Sir,Is there any gaskets or any other things there to avoid oil leak???
