If you mean hole in carb slide......It can be done, and it will not affect bike negatively, since it will provide richer mix.The FE will go for a toss, but the response will be addictive..

What i meant to say was... Turning AFR also makes it rich just like hole methode.. So cant we like, you know, bring the hole methode's performance by tuning AFR alone.. Since both of them identicaly produces rich mix? Or is there something more to this than meets the eye(my eye... sorry for being a noob

Today, while riding I could smell something burning. I think the smell was due overheating engine. The reason could be low engine oil, which I havent checked. But if that indeed is the reason then I am wondering if I should just add some extra oil now or change the oil completely? The oil is still good to go for now and I had plans of changing to Motul oil, maybe even the 15W50 grade oil.
What do you suggest? Shall check the oil level in the morning and update about the same.

Jusy did the AFR tuning.
Thought just to check what is my current setting on the AFR, turned it fully clockwise till it stopped and counted the no. of turn and it came down shockingly 5.5 turns.
Got to know that, why I was getting very low FE's.
This time while checking the AFR setting the engine was not on. Then, turned it anti-clockwise and stopped at 3 turns, just to ensure that from this setting does my FE's really improve.
(Half hour before all this I started my bike to check the cold start rpm and it hovering around 1100. That time I just turned off and went back home.)
Now, after the AFR tuning I started my bike and it started in 1 kick but refused to settle down to certain rpm, so adjusted the rpm and take it to 1200 rpm mark. This time it was hovering at 1200 rpm.
Then, I went for spin after warming the bike for about 2mins and throttle response was smooth.
After few KMS, I thought to check the bike by ripping it and it was good there too but still got hiccups at higher gears.
What could be the issue here? I was getting the hiccups when the bike was running rich and now on lean too.
When returned back home, found the rpm at 1800 mark and just waited for half min it just dips a little to 1700. So, adjusted to 1500 mark and waited for min, it settled there but sometimes it was hovering little bit.
Is my setting fine? Will I get good FE's now? And why these hiccups again ???
Does the hiccup issue may be due to Spark Plug ???

Check for oil leaks and also have a look at your air filter. You will feel hiccups as you were running very rich before.
so 3 anticlockwise turns means a bit lean,That's why you feels hiccups @ higher rpms,i have the same problem before tuning AFR screw,after setting it to 4 turns,now engine is smooth till 8k rpm,dont want to push more than that. 
Also as harishsangwan said,check airfilter,if clogged,replace the filter,its 205rs.

Bro try turning to 4 turns setup.
And if still problem presists then try changing your aifilter.
If still problem presists then check fuel line,
Any one of the above is surely the culprit.
