You'd be surprised but that's the same way I went for Street. I've called up a couple of dealers who're listed in Michelin's website. One guy honestly said he doesn't have M45 anymore while the other guy said he has stock.
I filled up the punctured tyre, rode over to him and found that he doesn't have M45. He showed me CEAT, MRF and Street tyres. He said the CEAT will be hard. The Street will be troublesome for the first three months, but after that it will offer "excellent" grip

Going by my previous experiences of sales guys telling all sort of stuff, I stood there and checked on my mobile. The air in my punctured tyre and my patience soon wore out and I went for Street.
Well, going by what you are saying.. can you please tell me what you actually mean by troublesome for the first three months?? in the sense.. 3 months equal to how many kilometers?? don't get offended as that line is not clear to me.. I am using the Michelin Sirac Street for the past 3 months and i still find it slippery on wet roads... how long are you using it?? in the sense how many kms have you completed using them... I have completed more than 1000kms

None taken Bro 3 months was what the dealer told me. He also had a ZMA and saw that he had Sirac street on the front. He then mentioned that "it was slippery for the first 3 months and was good after that."

I have it for the last 4 months and have done around 2000km. The grip was very good so far except for the incident I had last week on a wet road. I was at around 30kmph when it fishtailed on a stretch of water trail left by a tanker.

Hope you and your machine are fine without any damage...

Now thats the problem I am facing.. the tire skids and fishtailed too everytime the tire gets wet... otherwise of dry roads its got an awesome grip.. but again.. we are not going to ride on dry conditions throughout the year and that worries me..

          Thanks for the reply.
I bought my Hunk from another person, and it had been abused i believe which resulted in this.
I would be planning for a new Karizma this time , would it give between 35-40 if you ride sane in city?
Does ZMA-R now comes with tubeless tyres and DC headlight?

I am getting 38-40kmpl on my karizma. It comes with DC headlight but i am not sure of tubeless tyres. I think it still comes with conventional tube type tyres.

ZMA gives between 34~37 in city ,it still comes with TT(tubed) and always Full DC system ,which can run with dead/ no battery...

ZMA has a DC setup since 2003. And about TL tires, I'm not sure, but I guess the newer models come with TL tires.

The replacement is nowhere to be found. I reamed the jackasses however they maintain that the shims are not required when the calipers are assembled. I asked them if Honda/Nissin was mad if they included this part. It's been 3 weeks and I'm unsuccessful in locating the part. I have attached an image of the exploded view of the caliper. Please help me in locating the part marked in arrow. If you are able to able to locate the same in you city, please let me know and I will pay you in advance.

                    thanks guys

I'm surprised you found it in the parts manual, the one with the SVC completely missed out that part. It's impossible to source, as a temporary replacement use a credit card cut out. No issues running without it though.

Had been facing issues with gear shifts, I.e there'd be slight grinding while shifting, actually it's not noticeable if you shift casually, but if you take your own sweet time to shift, you can feel it, it's been there for a while. Today accidentally dropped bike and the clutch lever was bent by a bit, (I meant only ZMA owners will be able to tell the difference) but now shifting is smooth So now my query is, as we use the clutch and the bike gets older, should we reduce clutch free play to compensate?

Like I had posted earlier ,The Gap at the lever should be 5~6mm...more will result in hard gear shifts, and less in clutch not engaging properly...Always shift gear with clutch lever fully pressed to the grip, and accelerate only after fully releasing the clutch lever

No issues with braking, but the piston would stick to the brake pad, and leave some sort of boil marks. Nothing much to worry about i guess.
