Bro, you can use this kind of handle bar... its used on RE as well as RD350. I am going for the same kind of mods but I am planning to remove the entire speedometer kit and install a single round speedometer as in avenger and also I need suggesstions for choosing the round headlight which could give good brightness as well as good spread especially on highways.

So, the answer to your query is: Yes, its a smaller MF battery now.

I went for an oil change last week in shell station and got an ax7. They drained the oil from the filler side using an oil sucking machine and filled it with 1 litre. Does this method drain the total 1.2 litres of oil or the same 900 ml. Has anyone had an experience with such type of oil change?

It was good to resolve the specific problem of yours, and keep an eye on the connectors and sockets on top of the Starter relay...it is the main power source feeder, connection.

Also I'd say all of us should try some DIY and post it here ... even if it is 'how to change the H/L bulb without removing the fairing' .

Friends , I'm without a regular net connection at present hence am an irregular here . I hope to correct the situation in 2014 mainly because I miss the forum .... the exchange of ideas ... the support for experimentation etc .

It will only drain 1L. The remaining oil would trapped in various oil pockets in the engine that cannot be suctioned. In this case, you should check the oil level after filling and ensure that its within limits.

On another note, I feel this suction method employed at shell petrol pump is not a good practice. With suction, the sludge/impurities in the oil will be left at the bottom of the engine. These impurities will be removed only when the drain bolt is opened. Better drain the oil by removing the drain bolt and fill it.

A small info: Those who have engine cowls, please check if there are any stones trapped at the bottom of the cowl. They rattle when you ride and you might think some problem with engine. I have been getting this sound since 5-6 days, and finally figured out the stone in the cowl.

The tappet clearance is even shown in the owners manual specifications (Page no:2).

Like others have clarified the valve clearance to rocker is 0.1mm for both Inlet and Exhaust...Adjust the gap on Compression stroke TDC ..
