Need Help !!! I need the tube(which connects Carb and Filter Case), Air cleaner Duct(the case which is located below rider seat) & another tube(which connects Duct to Side filter case).
I searched for these parts from Feb till April in almost all Authorised Spare parts shops in chennai. No one was able to get me. Everyone suggested me to go to Southern Motorcyles in MEDAVAKKAM(the STOCKIST AND SUPPLIER for Hero parts). With lots of hope i went there, but even they dont have the parts but they placed an order and said that they will get in 10 days. Now it is more than 45 days & still i havent got it. Does any one in chennai have the above parts/anyone know any shop where they have the above spares for sure.

Dont waste your time. If you are lucky enough to have a friend either in Delhi or Mumbai, request him/ her to courier it to you and pay up. Here, even if they dont get new parts, they can source good-as-new ones from flea market etc Places like Chennai, Kolkata etc are real frustrating with stuff like this. Even new model bikes take ages to reach these remote areas. Leave alone spares! All the best.

Will fit with ease, the SMD led unit I have on mine, is longer and yet no issues.

Completed 500kms on the Mobil1 Delvac. Similar to the R3x, there is slight grinding at times, but the remainder of the time its fine.

A while back some one posted that splendor's brake shoe was better than the ZMA's stock brake. I've tried searching for that post without success. Can someone confirm it. Also are we talking about splendors front(130mm like ZMA) or rear(110mm) brake shoe.

Splendor's front brake shoes(130mm) are recommended for many bikes' rear like XTreme, Hunk, ZMA.
They're asbestos based and have better grip (less life), though not environment friendly.

I remember the original poster saying he got the non asbestos version and that as you say the grip is better, I was initially confused about the size of the brake, thanks for clarifying.

Didn't know that even non-asbestos type Splendor shoes offer better braking!

If you are looking for non-asbestos brake shoes then get splendor's Front brake shoes made by ANL (or) ASK.

Please note that these brake shoes take at-least 200-300 kms to bed-in properly. After about 2000 kms remove the wheel , clean the brake dust & drum using sandpaper and a cloth. After this cleaning, the brakes will bite furiously and can also lock the rear wheel if proper precaution is not taken.

Rear OE brake pads do not bite like the front brakes to prevent locking.

Bikes fine when we take it for a ride, but after a few mins of spirited riding, the bike stutters when we close and open throttle, say we're slowing down and we close and open throttle, instantly theres a hum.m...mmm... sound like fuels over and we automatically open throttle but a second later she pulls so hard that the front lifts. When we come to a standstill, she idles well, but as soon as throttle is given she stutters and comes back to idle, kinda like the throttle cable had snapped. To lauch we'd have to either throw some revs in and pop the clutch, or eat some clutch and modulate throttle till she builds up enough revs to launch.

                            Assumption : Blocked fuel filter.

Check the air filter also, sounds like the air filter is damaged, or dirty. Check it first before opening the tank.
