      • changed front fork pipe, oil seals yesterday from autolink, but when remove from main stand front fork goes but not that much significantly, only about 1-1.5cm,it absorbing shocks but while riding at slow speed on level road can feel road irregular thing on handle bar, rear tire is Michelin m45 4.00,service guy told its due to rear tire, and he had filled 140ml oil in each pipe.what could be reason for this?fork springs was changed 4months ago.

          • My first post on xBhp.......First of all Hello to all the motorcycle enthusiasts of the country.

I was opting to install the NGK G spark plugs after reading several posts here. I was just wondering if any additional mods needed for it or is just plug & play. Cos i heard of something like Split cables to be installed with it. So was wondering if someone could shed some light. Specially @SriramEfunds & @psr sir

            • Welcome to xbhp Swastik!

Now, an update for kariZMA owners:-

Satjajit dada has plonked a PSD 110 mm on his ZMR without any chain-cover cutting. It 'JUST' fits in.
So, the myth of the rear disc causing problems is nullified!

The same is quite possible with ZMA.

              What's the catch here?
Get the tire fitting done at a tire showroom, they have better tools/technique to fit in the tire compared to road side mechanics (read hammering).
              Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
Because everyone who passes, isn't a martyr!

What do I intend to do? Stuff ZMR drivetrain into an Ambition chassis and watch others run scared!

Amit (Only Amit) had already done this on his ZMA atleast 1.5 years back.

I just called up Premji's TYRE PLUS , They too said that 110 is a direct fit for karizma, but he was not sure about the front. The front being 100/90-18.

So has anyone fitted the front with 100/90-18 ?

                    • ^^^ Front tyre 100/90 x 18???? Are you sure?? Those are the rear tyre dimensions! Front is: 80/100 x 18 47P or, 2.75 x 18. That's the stock setup! 110/70 x 17 is the front tyre size on the Duke (Just for the sake of comparison!)

110 is a direct fit,No need to remove chain case.

100/90-18 is overkill,it will rub the front fender, max go for 3.0 * 18, ie 90/90-18 if you want an upsize.

Wont do any good on its own. If you go back a few hundred pages you could see that Psr sir, already explained the reason for the same.

G Power plug should be available with NGK dealer for ZMA. It is just another plug and won't require any mods. It is a plantimum and not conventional copper based so improves combustion thus gives you smoothness and FE returns are reported here. It costs 140/-.

Is there anything like split cable to be attached with it for more improvement in the spark.
I got to know about the NGK G from this thread only & the other mods too till date on my steed
