For removing the old screw, keep the carb on it's side and put 4 drops of any thin oil(WD40,Zorrick etc) or diesel on the screw.wait for 15 minutes and with a small screw driver held on top of screw, gently tap it 2 or 3 times..repeat this 2 to 3 times or till the screw turns.
Since there are Rodents running around, inspect the bike as often as you can to ensure that they don't pull out or get through the cloth stuffed in place.
sir, after lot of trying too i'm not able to remove the afr screw... i was able to create a grip on the screw but still it won't move... to make matters worse, the part of the carb near afr screw broke...

1 more thing... i had previously contacted the old owner of this zma... he said that he had not touched the afr screws after free services were over... so, i assume that the afr screw is stuck like this for atleast 4 years...
It does feel great to have a tank of petrol between your legs & explosions just under it.

reserve indicator will blink even if there is no tank on the bike or when the fuel guage connector is removed...
so, in your case it blinks for 4 seconds & it goes off ???
maybe there is some problem with the console...

Any way the first thing to do on any SVC maintained ZMA is to apply grease to the swing arm bushes and also clean and lube the chain and sprockets.
ya the shock absorber spring hitting the chain guard but now it has all bee done as i had to remove the chain guard as well and the whole swing arm.now no noise all butter smooth..btw the metal thing was there in the suspension bush wit the rubber.

              Low Beam:- Whitish
High Beam:- Good throw with tinge of Yellow (for rainy/cold conditions?)

              • Hello Friends

Thanks all... i went through a lots of thread and researched and decided to get my ZMA.. virtually you guys are the support when i need suggestions badly...so again thanks all.

I have got my ZMA- R from Majestic Mobikes in this month only..n also i got the ist service at 650 Km .with HH 4T(Idemitsu).... but somehow i feel the headlight is not at par... i asked the Service guys to adjust the lenth and the focus of the headlight.. but they couldnot.. if they adjust the distance of the focus then the light area getting spread... and if they adjust the focus ..then the distance of the light from bike is too close...resulting no use of that light while travilleing at highspeed at night.

could any one help me to know is there any other way to adjust the stock headlight.??

stock headlight is 35w isn't that bright...
you can try any good 60/55w bulb from a 4 wheeler spare shop & it costs approx Rs40-80 only...
no mods required... just switch the bulbs...

True. You are correct about your fears. Don't even think about it. Stay away.

Get a star screw driver and you can adjust the focus as per your need by turning the screw which is present in front of the handle bar inside the fairing towards the left side. Search the thread to get a pic of the same. . Use search function.

And if you notice closely the bike reaches 60 kmph at 3750 rpm. In short before the rpm needle reaches 4k it reaches 60 .

Your ever determined attitude towards learning is what makes you unique.

I guess most of the members who've been following this thread must of tired responding to questions which were already discussed in the past. Also, Rajarshi read somewhere that changing the light to higher watts might hamper performance. I let his best opinion to decide and shall not intervene.
