The AFR screw is totally damaged ,and only a small part of the head remains...Try getting a new one,or if not possible, after taking out the screw take it to a welder and ask him to do brass welding to fill up the head..Make the welded head flat with the help of file, and cut a screw driver slot with a junior hacksaw...your screw will be as good as new..
remember to fill the carburetor opening in the head and air filter side with a clean cotton cloth to prevent material, rodent going in.When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

yes the make pre 2011 and it was tough here in kol to get an easy thing done and definitely the acceleration is responding well after the battery change and thats for sure , i am too not aware of the technical reason too but it does.Originally posted by SriramEfunds View PostIs your bike pre-2011 batch? If yes, then it should be an easy job. Also I wonder how the pick could change for mere battery upgrade.
Try Philips Vision LED W5W T10 bulbs for pilot lamps. These bulbs come with 4000 Kelvin luminous which would match close to Philips Extreme/ Extreme Vision (55/60w). Expensive but worth it.
happy atm as my bike started on first push on self start beside my few month experience on kick starting. such a relieve.

i have already bought new afr screw set...

but still unable to remove old screw... it's damn stuck...
also removed the carb bowl...

i've also stuffed the opening on the head with a cloth as you said yesterday... there were rodents running around the bike...

Good that you have a new AFR screw set....please look at the end of the screw..you will see a small "O" ring....The old "O" ring from inside carb must be removed before fitting the new one... if you are unable to remove the old one then leave it as it is,and fit the new screw without the "O" ring at the tip.Originally posted by blACk_pANthER View Postsir,

For removing the old screw, keep the carb on it's side and put 4 drops of any thin oil(WD40,Zorrick etc) or diesel on the screw.wait for 15 minutes and with a small screw driver held on top of screw, gently tap it 2 or 3 times..repeat this 2 to 3 times or till the screw turns.
Since there are Rodents running around, inspect the bike as often as you can to ensure that they don't pull out or get through the cloth stuffed in place. When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

finally got rid of the suspension noise....actually these was not even little grease on the swing arm bush so got that done for outside mech and the service centre is of no use here.now my bike as good as new.thanks psr and every 1 who helped me for that.Originally posted by psr View Post
Did you check for the metal bush inside the shock mounting rubber like I indicated a few posts back ?..the shocks absorber mounting is too close ,I suggest you insert a thick washer behind the shock absorber mounting to solve the problem...if the metal bush is already there.

You were specific about the shock absorber spring hitting the chain guard and even posted a picture of the same..where does swing arm lube come in this ?Originally posted by siddhesh View Postfinally got rid of the suspension noise....actually these was not even little grease on the swing arm bush so got that done for outside mech and the service centre is of no use here.now my bike as good as new.thanks psr and every 1 who helped me for that.
Any way the first thing to do on any SVC maintained ZMA is to apply grease to the swing arm bushes and also clean and lube the chain and sprockets. When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

From your post, I probably understand that you would like to know if Philips Extreme Vision has a yellow throw or not.(I'm still a learner).Originally posted by shhbz View Posthaha! well which light will be better for onroad visibility. Low Beam:- Whitish
High Beam:- Good throw with tinge of Yellow (for rainy/cold conditions?)RX100 1996 | Karizma 2004 | Karizma-R 2011 | RXZ 1999 | RX 135 1998 | RX 100 1993 | CBF150 2005 - 2011
