Check in Roadside Spare shop for the plastic one which has shape like glass & have marking of every 100 ml .

I also have a feeling it is not the tappet because there is a slight tappet noise when the bike gets hot which is usual and present earlier also. But the thing is now other noises are prominent now. Its a total mix and cannot point out clearly. Well let me change the engine oil and lets see if it persists. .

it is a straight fit AFAIK. But both zmr shocks cost a total of 5k i think. But it is worth it. I have seen a picture of the same mod in the forum but can't remember where .

But ultimately, I believe it was the right thing to do, after all our bike's are just materialistic possessions, some day we'll have to out grow them and move on, cause as Randy Pausch said in his last lecture 'People matter more than things'.
Aneesh bro, we can understand your feelings.

            brilliant piece of info, Sir.

Update: My bike, once again, showed the signs of the same problem (engine not going beyond 5k rpm) and it happened as-
Since few days I was riding it normally, pushing the bike and then shifting not redlining everytime but not too sanely either. Yesterday, I decided to go to home at 60-70 kph and slow pace (like driving a car); but after some 10 kms when I tried to push the bike to 90 or above it just showed the same earlier problem and it felt like engine is missing breaths.. I was hugely disappointed.
During the problem, I think engine runs rich and there is lesser flow of air that makes pick-up sluggish and not enough to pull beyond 70 kph in 5th gear. In neutral also, the engine doesn't respond the way it does. I took few breaks also, but the problem was still there.
Today, in the morning, took the bike for a small ride to check and found that the problem was still there, but after few minutes when I went to a local mechanic to check whether he can suspect the exact problem and could do anything, then when he twisted the throttle in Neutral, bike was responding normally, and I was surprised, I asked him to take a ride, he came back and said "Whats wrong with you, I took the bike till 80-100kph without any hassle" So I was again shocked, amazed, that whenever I want a mechanic to observe this problem the bike responses well and I'm afraid if the same problem again creeps in!

PSR Sir, guide me what to do further, or I'll take the bike to Chennai to you

I top up my oil with a steel tumbler . No errors so far . And as you said I am leaving the issue unless somthing regarding performance come up.

Yeah from the pic itself its sure that the thing is of high quality. So many turns of coil that too perfectly packed together. Between why did you remove it? Any problem came up ? or for routine cleaning?

You have checked the carb slide didn't you ? Has it anything to do with the CDI?

And today took the bike to a local mechanic to change oil. He did tap the spanner to unscrew the drain bolt quite number of times. He had a special type funnel with strainer to fill in the new oil I haven't even seen the same at my SVC. My handle had a slight bend to the right side I though I was only feeling like that so to confirm it I asked him to take a test ride and yeah he also stated there was a bend don't know what he did when he came after the ride he had corrected the problem and I paid him 20rs. I asked him what he did all he replied was a smile. While returning home I again checked and I had a smile on my face till i reached home .

I think I told you that the problem is likely to come back....There are two ways...one is to get over it immediately, and the other to prevent it from happening ever.
                1. Whenever you get the problem, raise RPM to 3 K ,in Neutrel, and tap carburetor with the back side of a Screwdriver..this will release the slide.
                2. For a permanent solution, remove the carb, from the bike and open the top...you will get a long spring jumping out, and then remove the rubber skirt of diaphragm and take out the slide..you will see a dark coating on the slide barrel, and you have to gently remove it TOTALLY with a "0" emery .After doing it Re-assemble ,taking care to seat the rubber skirt in the outer lip of carb body, and carefully press down the spring and bolt the top in place...
Job finished...Unless you or the person doing it is skilled ,DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS..you can do more harm than good. Here is a pic of the carb in dismantled condition

My Bike stalled in the center of a busy traffic due to CDI connector loose contact, and so when I returned home decided to correct the problem and also check on the connection and wires of the Ignition system...so removed the Petrol tank, seat etc., and on inspection of coil thought why not try substitute and learn..and I did ,...that the CDI will work with most CDI coils of other bikes , but performance will go down....
                So sharing it here...

So you found out any similar substitute?? And about the performance drop is it too much? . And any remedies to overcome the drop in performance?

If we use NGK iridium won't the lack in performance decrease because NGK needs lesser voltage than the stock plug to produce spark. ( maybe I am sounding stupid here But am just saying )

He had to hit the spanner cause it was over tightened. Only tight the drain bolt using you'r fingers, never tighten it using palm force.

A weaker ignition coil along with the Iridium means that the bike would have to be launched at a minimum of 3k. Else the bike will stall.

Guys thanks a lot, I dint know anything about the bike before, this thread is like a encyclopedia for all the problems modification everything

I myself have benefited a lot from this, one such thing is the engine oil, after so much research I have just used the Motul 3000 4T 20w40 oil for my ZMA trust me I feel the bike is silky smooth,

Just wanted to thank you all for sharing your knowledge it has been really helpful for me.

No i did not find any substitute..what happens when I use other Ignition coils is that the bike starts and idle, but when I rev the bike ,it is slow to accelerate..obviously the spark power is less.
I am using the NGK G power plug which is equally good like Iridium without costing a fortune...you are not sounding otherwise but raising relevant questions, and I am happy to answer them.
