Karizma/Karizma R Ownership Experience

    pls see the point where the silencer chrome cover is starting, near the brake pedal lever as visible in photo. under that there are three set of pipes, one is the overflow, battery breather tube and one more. now from one of these the air is coming.........it is at constant rate and when i increase the throttle the flow increases..


    i will attach exact picture tommarow.

      Hi guys need your valuable sugesstions

      My Zma has done 9000km i did my service around 8200km

      Filled it with sprinta 5000

      now after 800kms of running my gear box have become very hard

      I for sure know it is not cause of the oil as i have used sprinta 5000 earlier and had no issues

      I am suspecting some clutch settings would do the trick

      problem is even while downshifting gears are making a loud tak tak noise

      please advise

              Anmol, got it now. They are breather pipes. It is very normal. No worries and enjoy the ride.

                  Brather pipe is connected to crankcase/air chamber and it will allow the engine to breathe. The piple will allow vapours and gases to flush out from the engine crankcase and also to breath in.

                        Hi As you are from Mumbai did you trying searching for the panels in Santacruz,Lamington Road also Chincholi Bunder in Malad is a good place were you may find what you are looking for

                        Worst case senario you can also try in Chor bazar they also keep bike parts however it will require lots and lots for searching.

                          Mehul, tried at one Spares shot today and the response was negative. Tomorrow I will go into the city and find (holiday for me). As tomorrow is Pongal festival, they may be closed. In that case, I will try on 15th, which is a holiday again to me.

                            I inquired at a lot of places still no luck. I need the original part, dont want to settle for the duplicates.

                              Hey guys any info on this query i had it checked with my mech he advised that ZMA gear box is hard and nothing can be done.

                              he did check the clutch and said everthing is fine

                                im thinking of changing the horn of zma-r to the stock ones of zmr.......

                                i have ordered the svc, and it will be there in 2-3 days, so i would like to know if there is any issues installing the zmr horn to zma-r??? will i need some relay etc?? will it cause a warranty void etc???
