i need your help how much should a 2005 June model zma cost now and what all should i look before making the deal. Please give your reviews fast i need to make a deal as soon as possible. the bike is said to be run 28k km and requires clutch plate changes.

Always use choke in the morning for cold start and let it idle (with choke on) for 10-15 sec. The purpose of choke is for a cold start.

i have A query, when my zma engine is warm, and i notice that there is a very small variation in the rpm tachometer indicator[change is noticeable by engine noise also], though very small is this normal??? or the tachometer should remain constant

Hey jugnu_sidhu,this deal will be reasonable if you get it for 35-38k,since the clutch plates need to be changed you will also have to spend on that.Check out for rattling sounds inside the front fairing(there might be minor cracks which cause irritating sound),also check for the chain sprocket because that gets worn out very easily in many zmas.One good thing is that its hero-honda,those engines have long life,especially zma.

hey guys wanted to know how often do you do "brake bleeding" and do you get it done at HH SVC.Because when i spoke to the HH supervisor the guy had no idea what i was talking about and said it was not necessary as brake oil is full.Got it done at a neighborhood garage and the idiot spilled oil on the disc and into the brake pads and now my brake is worse than before

Help Me

Hi Guys,
my Idling screw has been behaving wierd of late. It doesn't loosen or tighten sometimes. Very often my idling changes and goes erratic. I have tuned my carb twice in the last one month.
My mileage has dropped from a constant 40-41 kmpl to ~26-30kmpl.
I replaced my air-filter also last week. Got the carb cleaned, jets cleaned, new engine oil, correct valve clearance. No change in mileage. its getting on my nerves.
My carb is 34,000km old. does it need a change or something? damn its freaking expensive 4800bucks.

Sometimes, when i race the throttle, the rpm goes to 4k and slowly comes to 3k, now it just drops to 1.8k suddenly from 3k and keeps hovering around 1.3+- 200rpm all the time. Wierd behavior.

Any suggestions?? ideas??

RC1060 is the perfect K&n for Karizma. Is it worth the change...definetley not without upjetting the carb.

You need to install the filetr directly to the carb and if you do not want it to be affected by rain/water then use a Fiat radiator hose pipe. (works wonders in rain). So get the filter, get the hose pipe , get bigger jets...i think stock is 125 size (so u need to source larger than that). Sourcing bigger jets for karizma is a taunting task.

Will put up a pictorial representation on how the mentioned parts look and how to install, reall soon. Cheers

hey guyz....

I had replaced ma karizmas stock filter with a k&n RU0200 since then i covered 7k n recently i notice that other than the bend pipe connecting to the carb there are some other small rubber pipes connecting to the filter box....
Wat's the use of these pipes.....?
Is it safe to leave these pipes in a open air box.....?
plz help.....

Hello Fellas,
I know this probably is the Nth time some one is asking the same query but trust me I tried looking in all the posts but could not get a satisfactory answer.

My question being simple "is k&n and upjetting worth the deal"

I have done 12k's and I need just that extra little punch.but as is the case with many of the fellow xbhipains out here I am quite reluctant in going for the above mentioned combi the reason being how would the engine fare both in the long and the immediate run.I mean by any chance would it screw the engine?

also I had a couple of queries:-

1) what should be the jet size for upjetting 130-135??
2) after the combi would there be tangible betterment in both pick up & top speed.I know the average would take a beating and I am quite prepared for it.
3) My bike is still under warranty ,the k&n site states that using their product does not VOID warranty how much of this is true.
4) In the eventuality of things going wrong after the combi how easy it is to roll back to the stock state.

Need your help fellas.

Guys, i have this squeaky sound coming from my front disk, more so everytime i turn to the left. Have mentioned this in every service (4 up till now) and the same is set right for 4-5 days after service but returns again.

Any ideas on a permanent fix?

I too had squeaky sound coming from front. Thought it was disc brakes, turns out it was coming from where the speedo cable is attached to the front wheel. Changed the cable, Problem gone.

I had it once.. Got it cleaned in one of the Service centers.. after two days problem repeated...
took it to another service center... he told me that my wheel alignment was shaken by a bit.. got the wheel alignment done and the sound has never come again... go and get ur wheel alignment checked .. it may help.
