I am facing this issue lately with my 10500km done ZMA

Gears are smooth however while driving whenever i change my gear for e.g from 2nd to 3rd and give a little throttle bike make a "kut" sound before it accelerates

This happens mostly while upshifting after 2nd gear bike make a kat sound whenever gear is changed and then bike moves smoothly

I am sure that its not the gear lever making that kat noise as its coming from the engine

any idea whats going on i am suspecting that my clutch settings are not right or its time to change the clutch cable

    please advise

may be ur chain set needs replacement

try to figure out from where sound is coming

    or chain may loose also

      • Rear wheel wobble

Guys, I fixed a puncture at a local puncture wala recently. After that I could notice rear wheel wobble when I travel with someone on pillon. What could be the reason?

And one of my concerns here. I could see many members referring to ZMA as a "she". But Why? Isn't it male enough? Any thoughts anyone?

Its true especially in India, if your engine has been opened even once, the price in second hand market will depreciate a lot. Because, the levels of precision and tolerance levels set for an engine at the factory can rarely be matched at a service center. Engine jobs requires a dust free environment to start with and skilled labor. Which is why most service centers have trained technicians who are the only ones allowed to open an engine. Since the later is not guaranteed, its better left unopened unless un-avoidable.

Yes, a poorly done engine job will affect the power and mileage.

I have tried everywhere but they don't have it in stock. They have it for every other bike, but not for ZMA. Is this a common problem? Where can I find it in Pune?

checkout the alignment of the Tyre wrt rim.....
a fine rubber lining is embossed on both sides of the Tyre for proper alignment in case of a puncture. If it is not fixed properly, then remove some air from the tyre and when the tyre becomes loose align it properly and fill it again with air.
