      sir,

it is to inform you that im ak sharma owning a hero honda karizma zma-r. It is one year old and has done 3900 km. I had a minor accident a couple of days back, so repaired my bike at metro motors rithala delhi, since it was evening time, the mechanic didnt gave me the test ride and i took the bike home after completing all payments. But after riding the bike i noticed that there is some noise heared below the console when the bike is ridden on some not so smooth road[you know how delhi roads are, having small potholes etc].

So today i went to the svc[metro motors rithala delhi] and they made a job card for this purpose, i also wanted to change the silver color plate of the silencer as it has got some scrtaches and dent.

When i went to the workshop manager for rectifying the bike's condition, his behaviour was pathetic ,rough, coarse, impolite, uncivil, rugged, ill-mannered, unmannerly, discourteous.

i could not find anymore words to explain his damn rugged behaviour.

I agree with the procedures of the workshop, but atleast the person there should atleast listen to what customer requires and satisfy and assure the customer.

Im attaching a snap of the list of names of the persons of that svc, im completely dissatisfied by today's experience and i have lost all faith in hero honda company.

I thought hero honda service was the best but today metro motors rithala delhi has ruined all my faith in hero honda. If the svc is behaving with a customer who is owning a premium segment motorcycle of hero honda, i wonder what they would be behaving with customers of dplendor and cd - deluxe.

the job of the workshop manager is to satisfy the customer and he himself is such a rude and stupid person, how the metro motors rithala delhi have hired such personnel.

Kindly take the matter into consideration and take a strict disciplinary action against metro motors rithala delhi, otherwise herohonda would be losing customers as today i have decided not to service by bike at metro motors and would prefer to service my bike by a roadside mechanic.

im attaching the names of persons there pls see the snap, the name of workshop manager is rc sharma.

      Thanks
      ak sharma
please give me the email id of hero honda

      • First of all..you guys rock, I have been watching this thread from quite some time and was taking a lot of 'Gyaan' from you 'Gurus'

I have a problem & I am sure that I will get a solution here to fix it.

Anyone from Mumbai knows a good mechanic for ZMA? I stay in Dahisar. I am having problems while shifting gears, sometimes it is very hard to shift & sometimes the gear fails to engage. I had reported this problem to HH service center multiple times but looks like those morons don't know how to fix it.

Steps taken by HH guys so far:
        - changed pressure plates (clutch plates)
        - changed shifter lever..
        - played with clutch adjustment multiple times...
        - Changed engine oil twice since last service.

the problem still persists, so I have decided to consult some good mechanic for my problem. Please help me guys.

        ZMA R 2009 model. A year old.
        4 services done.
7500 + kms done so far.

        Thanks in advance.

P.S. I have already posted this in the 'Help Me' section long time back hoping to get a good advice.

            Hi

ZMA gears shift a little hard normally dont expect zma gears to be as smooth as R-15 FZ etc

However if you are facing very hard gear shifts these are some of the things you can try

            1. Make sure the clutch is not too tight and adjusted properly.

            2. Press clutch properly before shifting gears.

3.Put some oil for lubrication near the shifter lever of the gear.

            4.Use good oil i e : Petronas sprinta 4t 5000,Gulf 10W30,Castrol power 1 racing, Motul 300v

5.If possible trying shifting gears between 3.5 to 4 rpm

I too own a 2009 ZMA and have done 9000kms till now

I have never given my bike in Hero honda service stations for servicing
took the risk of Warranty being Void

I get my service done every 2000kms near chincholi bundar Malad (West)
there are Mech name Rahim also Karim who will do good servicing of your bike.

There is a shop called Sagar Auto you will see lots of shops over there for bike parts

Just ask over there who rahim is

also like i mentioned dont expect gears to be super smooth but it will be better

                • Vineet, do you use throttle blipping while shifting gears? If not, try this. Just give some slight throttle and as soon as you close the throttle, shift the gear. If you are shifting gears without throttle blipping, try this and it would definitely help you.

If you are already following this, just ignore and look for a good mechanic.

                  • Hey all,
Since the past few days, there is a silght sideways play in the swingarm of my bike which is leading to acclerating chain wear. What could be the issue? Has the swingarm bush worn out? My bike has done 25k kms. Help!
What do I intend to do? Stuff ZMR drivetrain into an Ambition chassis and watch others run scared!

Maybe I should get my wiring checked properly too.
                      Any suggestions in Bangalore??

Goto RUBY Auto Accessories, there a guy called kennedy vasa, he could help... his number is 9945138274.... I also had dimming problems when i had put dual horn and upgraded my headlamps............
Now got it fixed by him and till date works like a charm..... give him a try... its definitely worth a try

Thanks Ravi, will use this trick next time. I was more concerned because I never faced such problems on my other friend's ZMA's and all of them are of the same age (roughly 1 - 1.5 yrs old & 6500 - 9000 kms done)

25k sounds like time for bush change.

                                Guys,

Is it advisable to upgrade ZMA-R tyres to 'tubeless' ones? if yes, any modifications needed? how much would be the cost?

currently my ZMA-R is running with a Michelin M45 (90/110) at rear and stock front tyres.
