hi guys im new here.have been doing a lot of touring and off road riding on my ZMA-R which caused a fork out and the bike started skidding on wet roads and while cornering.also the bike leans towards the right when i leave the handle.got the fork out fixed but still the bike leans towards right.plz help !!

My bike is brand new. Just 2 days old. Should I change the head lamp? I have a spare one (Philips Vision plus H4). I know that this light is very good but where do i get it fixed. Since it is a new bike I don't wanna give to some local mechanic and get scratches on the fairing. What do i do??

Also I need to get the number plates for my bike. Which one looks better fiber or the metal plate? I had a fiber one on my old RTR.

why don't you get it done from the showroom itself?...they did it for me(prakash motors only).
As for the nos plate,go for the fibre one.Will cost you a bit but still...

Did you change jet to match the increased air intake?
i suggest you to get rid of k&n..keep it stock and get it tuned

Since that query was your first post in XBHP, obviously you have not read the hundreds of post regarding K&N filters. You can browse and read about them, but to put it in a nut shell, do as "worrisomebear" suggested. Do upjetting OR go back to stock .

zma problems

My 6k odd old Mar '09 zma is giving me endless troubles.
The bike won't start in the morning unless I use the choke and I will keep the engine idling for 3-4 mins. Also, I observe that the beats are not uniform, it gradually tries to die down even idling rpm is high. Then, the bike behaves as if it is hitting the reserve and jerks a lot. It continues for well, 3-4 kms of the ride. Also, on empty stretch of Hosur Road, i try to do the top speed, but when I shift from 4th to 5th at around 90-95kmph and wring the throttle, the power surge goes down as if the engine will die and also jerks a lot.

I've complained twice to sai motors regarding the same, but nothing has happened till now. The second time I gave it to service, the service was well done and bike was good only for 3-4 days. From then onwards, I am having this trouble. I have to check out this thing with some good mechanics/service centers in Bangalore. Guys, please advise.

I can't plan any long rides since the bike sits in service center over the weekend . I will try my luck with other service centers before making the ultimate decision.
Wish I had all these troubles with my previous zma so that I wouldn't have to buy the same bike again. I really miss my previous ride.

Now that ZMR is launched, i think all attention goes to ZMR at service centers and not for ZMA/ZMA-R.
