yeah, I just traded my P180UG-III for a Silver 2005 ZMA.
I am really happy with the way this baby performs.. I really wonder why I never bought a ZMA when I got the Pulsar.
Please bear with me for all my dumb questions. I've never handled a ZMA before.

Couple of days back, I posted a query " how do i open the seat of the ZMA". the reply I got was " do u really own one?? "
Heh heh.. Yes Sire, I do own one NOW.
Just waiting to get 2 FIAT stickers and 2 Bridgestone stickers to PIMP her up.
congrats Coplay@224 on your new ride!

i'll make Amway Car Wash and Polish do her a good job tomorrow morning.

      BTW,
      1) any suggestions where I can get some decent stickering done here in Bangalore
      2) Can anyone tell me where I can get the Engine cowl of the ZMA? Its not available in HH showroom, Hosur Road. Are the ones available in JC road originals? I guess the original costs somwhere around 550-600 bucks.
stickering can be done at jc road itself.

there are couple of places in indranagar as well. but never tried them.

yeah the cowls you get there are the real ones. but..you have to giv them a check before yo buy them , cuz they usually stock factory seconds aswell.

cowl: not excatly real ones in JC road.
you have to check the screw mountings first. it will be made of cheap plastics sometimes and the mountings will be misplaced.

how about going to gujuri, buy used cowl for half the price (or less ) and then paint/sticker it.
i guess everything will work out way less than 500bucks?

                  • I'm loving my new ZMA. after riding a noisy Pulsar with a K&N, it feels like I'm riding some heavenly vehicle. silent and swift.
I never realised I touched 130kmph and that too EFFORTLESSLY and she was asking for more.

                            • Hi Guys!

My bike is just 2 weeks old Yellow ZMA R. I am having a small prob. I am not able to kick start my bike in the morning even after 10-15 kicks. Not able to with the choke also. It starts with out any prob with the self start. Is this a prob??

It looks like there's a problem with your technique of kick-starting, nothing else. No need to worry about it.

                                Try this:

                                1. Gently kick the bike, with the intention only of turning the engine over and not to start it at least once.

                                2. Ignition on, choke on (preferred if engine is cold), throttle closed.

                                3. Move the kick starter from its upright position to the point where resistance begins.

                                4. Kick down firmly, keeping the throttle closed. Do not use the throttle until after the engine has started and warmed up for little bit.
