  • HID xenon for zma

    Hi guys,

I am planning to fix HID xenon on my zma-R. I was wondering any able mechanic available to do the job in Bangalore. Also, any pointers to the stores where 4300K sets are available(don't want to attract cops for the bluish light) is appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Krishna

All men dream, but not equally. Those that dream at night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act upon their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible. - T. E. Lawrence

You mean the size of ZMR rear is different from ZMA-R but can be fitted?

You can fit. No clue about the price. I guess MRF have not yet released them in the market.

                      1) it is with evry bike, will be ok after the oil change.

                      2) use choke, and give self, no need of opening tanks etc.

if still persists then get the AFR corrected by SVC.

                      3) it is normal

                      4) see To the SVC immediately.

AFR Means air fuel ratio, and yes u can claim warranty to any authorised SVC.

Congrats on the new Buy! you sure will cherish it.

I would recommend you go to the SVC where you bought your bike. I had same problems with mine and got it corrected at other SVC. Got my initial servicings done from this another svc. Now the supervisor of the Dealer's svc do not co operate if i go and tell if i have any issue with the bike. I understand its pretty clear that you can get it done anywhere in the country but why take chance?
Gears- A clutch setting change will make the life smoother for you but dont expect miracle. Try changing oil,i mean, only from svc and the recommended grade. Exercise atmost caution in run in period. A controlled riding in this period will ensure nice mileage and refined engine in long run.
This is true to my experience.
Cold start is very common with ZMA. dont worry!

And yes get good riding gear, a must for a true biker.
***Correct me if I am wrong :)

                              • Guys,

Went to HH showroom this weekend to inquire about ZMA.
Saw one yellow ZMA-R at bay, new one, getting ready for delivery.
Owner of it, a guy looked impatient & ecstatic to get his hands on her.
However, I saw something unusual about her.
She was same as old ZMA-R except for one add on.
It had a stylish body coloured RVM with a turn light installed.
Looked great, could not take picture, but would give an idea of exactly what I am talking about i below pic.
Forgot to mention, it costed him Rs. 450 extra.

Pardon me if I am passing out redundant/old information.
