Your carb just needs proper tuning, thats all. Use choke in the morning for starts.Originally posted by KARIZMATIC View Postno, i dont have any problem except for the cold starting issues even in hot summers,

This happens to me big time. I think my battery is weak.
Using Crystal Vision. My lights go dim even when the indicator is on. Actually, headlight also blinks. Horn is very feeble when headlamp on.
Maybe I should get my wiring checked properly too.
Any suggestions in Bangalore??Never Argue with an Idiot !!!

Not sure, but higher RPM's I guess since bikes are higher revving than cars usually. And it depends from bike to bike. My Royal Enfield needs oil change at every 3000 kms while my Ninja 250R needs an oil change every 12,000 kms.Originally posted by KARIZMATIC View PostFRIENDS CAN ANYBODY PLS tell me that why a bike requires a oil replacement on overy 2500-3000km[stock oil] whereas a normal petrol car requires oil to be changed every 10,000 km[stock oil]
pls shed some light on this query

Gear will eventually become smooth as you accumulate mileage. After your bike is well run, you will at some point feel the gear getting harsh, this will be mostly due to oil or clutch cable adjustment. No cause for worries. Recommend you to change oil once before 500kms. And then again at 1st servicing. After that you can change at 2,3,4k, depending on the type of oil you are using.Originally posted by 1235sam View PostI have completed 100 km on my new Karizma R.Gear still seems to be hard although i am sure it will get smoother after 1st servicing .I keep RPM below 4k. Horn sometimes does not blow at its full. Also should I change oil now ?
If you are braking and blow horn, the horn will sound less than it should. This is especially more pronounced while riding at night with headlights on, brake and blow horn. The horn becomes quiet weak.

Hi,
My Karizma R has completed 400+ km and now it time to service it.
I'm wondering which oil should I use now? Shall I stick to what Hero Honda guys uses or something else? Any suggestions?
Thanks.
