it means maintainence is very low, typical hero honda quality like splendor, passion n my old cbz...
but everyone says that availability of its spares is a problem even in city like delhi abd they r costly too....
Yup! spares can be a headache, thats why I got some "extra" spares . I don't mind the cost as long as they are good quality that lasts long. Y'know, cheap and change frequently or costly and change one in a while maybe amounts to same apart from labour.

    • Hey all Karizma guys...
I got Bosch twin horns installed with a relay, sounds similar to a stock Skoda Octavia.
Bad News: While checking the top end, I lost one horn in the middle of the highway just after one day of the installation, bloody as***le mechanic that had fit it.
I'll have to buy a pair again, Rs. 600
Earlier it costed me Rs 600 + Rs 170(relay&fitting charges)

Me too had experienced similar problem recently. The taktak sound is coming from selfstarter relay near the battery. If your battery is perfect then there may be two reasons
                  1. The relay needs replacement.
                  2. Carbon deposits in startermotor.

Mine is workin perfectly after replacin and cleanin the brushes in startermotor.

I think correct term for drum brake is "shoes", and for disc is "pads". Anyway, Rs. 100 for 1 pack. I pack has two shoes.

I think its too early to change the rear shoes as the shoes should outlast your front disc pads by a good margin. Hope you have changed or is planning to change your disc pads cause its about time.

Have change my front disc pads at around 13k. Now bike has done 20+ but rear shoes are still okay.

Have actually opened and checked the rear when I was changing the front disk pads, they were hardly worn while the front pads were almost gone.

No the front discs are still fine though fluid level is below half. I mostly use rear brakes, now they are just not braking that fine and not giving me confidence in braking. That' why thinking of getting them changed.
