Sometimes it happens with my bike also. Generally it happens due to bad surface only.Originally posted by imjoshee View Post"Biking is Divine"

I would repeat, what i sed 2 pages back.Originally posted by imjoshee View PostI noticed that the front tyre was wobbling & was feeling like it was puntured. I stopped & checked the front wheel & everything was fine.I started riding again & did not feel anything like that again
What could be the problem here?
you need to check & change the bearing located at the base of the cone set. it may have gone kaput,
OR
The front wheel bearing (there are 2 of them would cost anywhere from 120~150)
OR
may be both.

I read about this. But my bike just 1 month old & will the bearings or cone set go kaput in such a short while??Originally posted by pronoy_banerjee View PostI would repeat, what i sed 2 pages back.

I will be visiting the SVC this sat for my 2nd service. Will mention this problem to the mech there & lets see what they have to say.

that would be good, you can chk it yourself, stand in front of your bike facing the headlight, sit down, hold the rim, try to pull the wheel towards you, if the forks move towards/away from you even a small bit, the bearings in the coneset are dud.I read about this. if not,
tilt the handle towards any direction totally, now hold the handle there and push the wheel towards/away from the direction you tilted your handle, keeping the handle at the farthest tilted point...
if it moves a bit, then the wheel bearing might be dud..

man you got some painting skills. Ok so now can you provide some info about that heat res-Paint and how to use it. Am planning to do the same. Mine is a zma r but few areas i can see that the black finishing is missing. A small tutorial will be very helpfull.Originally posted by pronoy_banerjee View PostHere are a few pics of my bike, after the visual modification...

well, i painting aint such a pain in the arse, only removing the parts, cleaning it with sand paper washing it, and then putting it back on after painting is a real bummer..Originally posted by vineeth areth View Postman you got some painting skills. anyways..
i used a spray paint from Bosny..
im uploading a few pics of the can... you need to shake it every now and then, and spray it upside down..keeping in mind, the surface should be absolutely clean,...
Did not open the engine.

just the plastic parts, and covered other parts with news paper and cello tape..
I finished the whole can doin these, it costs 265 bucks only

if you do not get it anywhere, contact me on my email, [email protected],
i'd revert with the name and contact of the shop in pune who can courier it to you. you'd have to bear the shipping charges.

This paint can bear upto 400*F as it sez on the can,
There is another variant available which can withstand upto 800*F definitely for a higher price..

Problem with karizma- wobbling
I have done almost 5K km in my karizma , I also felt that the bike is punctured sometimes, I was once cruising at 100 kmph, suddenly there was a big wobbling , so i tried to slow down , till i came to zero the wobbling didnt stop, then i checked and found the tyres are fine, after that i didnt have that problem. I have this problem 2 times out of ten. very scary..... Guys , please tell me what might be the problemOriginally posted by imjoshee View PostI have successfully completed my running in period yesterday ie the 2000kms mark. Though the manual says to keep it below 60kph for the 1st 1000kms, I kept it going till the 2000 mark.
Something I noticed couple of days back & today.
I opened the throttle beyond 60 & went till 70-75 & stayed there till 10-15 secs & came back to 60. Once I got back to 60, I noticed that the front tyre was wobbling & was feeling like it was puntured. I stopped & checked the front wheel & everything was fine.I started riding again & did not feel anything like that again
What could be the problem here?

Thanks for the info buddy. I checked the way you informed. But everything seems to be fine.Originally posted by pronoy_banerjee View Postthat would be good, you can chk it yourself, stand in front of your bike facing the headlight, sit down, hold the rim, try to pull the wheel towards you, if the forks move towards/away from you even a small bit, the bearings in the coneset are dud.

One of my friend also owning a ZMA from couple of years recommended me to increase the tyre pressure from company specified 25psi to 28psi & check if the problem still presists.Today morning, I increased the tyre pressure to 28psi & rode the bike at 80kmph. The wobbling has reduced to some extent but the problem still persists.Originally posted by paulxaviereee View PostI have done almost 5K km in my karizma , I also felt that the bike is punctured sometimes, I was once cruising at 100 kmph, suddenly there was a big wobbling , so i tried to slow down , till i came to zero the wobbling didnt stop, then i checked and found the tyres are fine, after that i didnt have that problem. not actually buddy,Originally posted by sambrother View PostGawsh bro
...u can anyways get another second hand bike for the same cost man...anyways super paint job done...
i spent 20 grands on the engine and other things.
i could only get a shitty second hand for like 30K

at least now i know, the engine is as good as new.
and gives me a greater power output than the stock.
