  • My Bike's rear shockers keeps giving chiiichiii sound be it while riding or just parking it while sitting on bike. Though they are working fine, what could be the issue?

Used them. Cannot remember the brand. Cost about 800. Very good and easy to use as spray are initially water-like liquid and can get into every tight space, they soon become somewhat hardened and sticky and stick to the chain. Only problem is they are expensive for long term especially for me who uses bike frequently.

                  • Yea i also need one good chain spray.I used one Silicone Lubricant spray which i used for few days but it was not effective cause the chain started making squeaky noises around day 2.So m using grease now.
How much does the Chain Sprocket normally last.I Just changed mine at 22k Kms and now i am currently at 25.5k Kms.

bro i happen to come across a chain lube called Yamaha- lube(iirc). Dealer was quoting 400rs for it. Other day saw hh svc people using some lube(don't remember the name) which cost around same. I badly need one coz i removed the chain guard. Using grease and oil is out of choice because of those black stain left by them on my rear wheels.

under sane riding condition with proper maintenance, one set can last up to 25k kms.

+1 to what @anmol_1990 said. Regarding maintenance, Just give it for regular service and it will not give problem. Mine is 20+k now. All I did in that period are change in..
                              1. clutch cable
                              2. speedo cable
                              3. One brake bulb
                              4. Disk pads
                              5. Air filter
                              6. Fork oil
                              7. Rear Brake light switch

Note: all changes are only once till date. Everything else is stock.
Considering I rode the bike "daily" through the entire monsoon. It comes as no surprise that rusts have accumulated in the clutch and speedo cable causing it to fail.

How does this fare compare to other motorcycle, you decide.

I have used spray that sticks like glue to chain though its much more expensive @ around 800rs. no flinging off. I have removed chain guard and I now regularly oil my chain due to cost factor, it fling off, thats why I have made myself a small chain .. or rather oil guard to block these flings. Sort of a mini chain guard.

it means maintainence is very low, typical hero honda quality like splendor, passion n my old cbz...
but everyone says that availability of its spares is a problem even in city like delhi abd they r costly too....
