Battery may be gone dead buddy ... are you able to get ur meters ON after u turn ON the key or not ...If not then u might replace it with a new one ..

      * before getting it changed Once give it for charging nd see wht happens..
      * Check the Voltage of the battery it must be 13v nd above ..if it stays below 13v then itz gone

It is short form for ...Air Fuel Ratio. The correct ratio for all gasoline(Petrol) engine is supposed to be maintained at 14.7 : 1..ie.,.For every 1 part of fuel 14.7 part air is required. This is for perfect pollution control and best fuel efficiency.
Normally for Karizma the AFR adjusting screw is set 4 full turns(360 degrees) anticlockwise after turning it GENTLY fully clockwise till it stops.
Actual Settings are + or- 1 turn.

You asking me?? I got my bike on August 2010. But its not that i drive like an uncle.. When i twist that accelerator, i intend to fly and I DO give those 220's a whole lot of competition.. lol

i would say btter switch on to Amaron 9Ah maintenance free battery.. in the stock u get 7Ah ..

i am using exide it costed me around 1400 INR .. for amaron itz 1700 to 1800 dont know exactly whtz the cost .
                      but go for 9Ah

                      How to fit a 9Ah battery go here-My Karizma Mods & Ideas! - Page 16 - Team-BHP

                      • Any advantage on 9Ah over 7Ah battery? Exide or amaron?which one is better?

                        Comment

                        • Seems most people swear by Amaron, so that will be my next battery. 9ah can take better load than 7ah. Meaning you can use higher watt bulbs, dual horns etc putting too much load on the battery.
Btw, 9ah is not a direct fit though, its slightly bigger. So some minor work will be required.

I am using the Pulsar carburetor Pic to illustrate. The Red arrow marked screw is the AFR screw. You will see the same in the Keihin Carb also in the same position. Apply a little 2t or brake fluid on the screw if it is tight to turn. Turning it clockwise make the AFR lean. and turning it anti-clockwise make it rich..
In your case turn it anti clockwise half a turn at a time(180 degrees) to make AFR rich, till you solve your problem.Always wait for 1 to 2 minute after adjustment to know the result, and do it AFTER you had Warmed up the Engine.

Thank a lot for all the help bro Will definitely try it out today, and post the results. And i also have one more query,.. Rite now i'm running on stock headlamps, but i have also got HID kit with the bike(included in on road price), Should i get it fixed? what is the difference between a halogen and a HID?
