Now please tell me what I will be getting..
Bro Cruising around 70-80, shifting mostly around 5k, rarely upto 6-7k. will land u anywhere between 30-35 km/l however few number of blasts on any gear which reaches 7k will pull the milage below 30 no matter how long u ride unless u neutral the bike and start allover again...

At speeds u are saying and shifting at not more than 5-6k . i feel something above 37-40kmpl is what one should get.... My personal experience of 100kmph normal highway cruising long distances with minimum 7/8k shifting more of 5-6k has given me near 40 ....Anything above that irrespective of speeds or gear shifting pattern will return 30-35 max.....

      • HI everybody this is sirish a new comer, i am new to this blog but in a very short time i learned a lot from u ppl out there doing gr8 job and i'm happy to be a part of the the XBHP.

And Commin to the point , i ve a very weird problem with my 19 months old zma.

as u can see that i 've 2 gaskets fixed in between the Cylinder and the head, which the HH service mechanic has fixed it at around 15k Kms this happend when i've complained that the tappets sound is very high and asked him to fix the problem and when i went to him to take the delivery he gave me a bill stating that he has fixed 2 gaskets instad of one to reduce the tappet sound after that while riding i found a very diff riding experience like i felt that compression has got affected badly and i felt the change while accelerating.

plz help me in this issue , is it really a problem which will affect compression or its just my wrong analysis coz i am not satisfied with the acceleration after this change.

Bro please check if the HH guy have made some loosen\tightning on clutch after service as the changes mentioned above shell not affect acceleration unless engine is heating up...fix clutch or run the bike for close to 100 km and see if there is any inprovement...Good Luck

                      • Well, I like it so i dont mind.... i actually love it..

P.S. im not sure if this was possible or not but.... i had filled 500 bucks worth of petrol which i got 9.41 liter's and my bike drove for 405.0 KMs total. As soon as the bike hit reserve, i filled it up......... I calculated and i got a 44 AVG. i cant believe that i got such a awesome AVG. i didnt think it was possible in this bike and i drive slow some times but since it was "Navratri" time, i was ripping like hell at night............

                        • ZMA spanner sizes

Wanted to know for the rear wheel right side nut size , whats the size of the spanner needed to loosen/tighten the nut holding the rear wheel on the right side.

The left side one is 32 sized but the right one is a little smaller.

Chain tightening is needed from time to time on ZMA hence need to loosen the wheel nuts before tightening the chain.
