    Guys, Good news, i had gone to the SVC and i had a long fight/argument with the workshop manager and he replaced the pads free of cost and also, he had said "i will replace the pads within goodwill so next time we wont replace your pads" i said "ok.." i also got my left side rear side cowl replaced and my bike is almost brand new again. im soo happy. Ill post pic's tomorrow

      Congrats!!! Now, I guess you have learnt a lesson - be careful with pads when you give for service. Send a cautionary word with the supervisor there when you give for service.

        Yea man, it was because of you (ravi) and steveburnside2001 that i got the guts to fight with the SVC. if it wernt for you guys, i would've just gotten the RTR pads and used them. thank you very much man.... you dunno how i feel right now...

            thats indeed great...stick to Nissin disc pads they are now costing 1050 in mumbai... dnt use unicorn or any other bike discpads...thats wat head mechanic at HH told us.. they said if unicorn disc pads could be used , we could have used xtreme or hunk disc pads as replacement as all 3 bikes..hunk, xtreme and unicorn run same kit....

              Thanks a lot dude.. will visit Bangalore soon. i dont want my fuel stolen when i am touring and end up in a place with no pumps :/ its always been a nightmare for me as i ride solo.

                UPDATE:
                Since no one replied to the above message ive bought the apache rtr kit which costs 260. all the items are same except for the push rod and the circlip. i still feel the the brake travel is a bit more, perhaps air has gotten in the system ?

                Ps: i need to know if the ss braided line of the 220's is of the same length as that of stock lines and its cost.

                  Any pictures of the RTR kit? My Master cylinder is also screwed and is rusting inside thanks to the SVC jerks when i gave my bike for the last service.
                  What do I intend to do? Stuff ZMR drivetrain into an Ambition chassis and watch others run scared!

                        buddy, i fitted the kit,but go ahead and buy one.the kit includes:
                        1. a diaphram
                        2. a sightglass & its washer.
                        3. front and the back seal.
                        4. push rod and the spring
                        5. circlip.
                        6. dust cover &
                        7. a smalll clip which fits on the bottom of the reservoir.

                        i just used the spring ,seals and the dust cover.the push rod is a bit too long in height but i suppose if we could file the place where the spring fits it would be of the same .do retain your old pushrod and the circlip and wet the seals with brake fliud before fitting the push rod in the cylinder.

                            After around 200kms night ride yesterday, and some amazing pot holes my Karizma's front alloy is bent
                            Can any one help me if there is a possibility of getting the alloy fixed?

                            And if replacing the alloy with a new one is the only solution, what might be the price of a new alloy wheel ...

                              Alloy got bent?? Then I need to check mine. Though I could escape many potholes, I too hit potholes numerous times. Thats one hell of a ride that we will not forget.

                              If it is minor, take it to ranigunj. If repair is not possible, then you might have to spend around 4200. You can claim insurance too.

                                The bent is not that major...
                                I can still ride my bike with out much trouble..
                                But the handle starts vibrating rigorously when I leave it at a speed of 80-90.

                                Where exactly in Ranigunj can I get this job done???
