    Hi guys, i went to HH SC today... While i was riding, i i gues si hit a pothole or something but my meter wire came out. i was like "WTF? OMFG WTF?" when i saw my meter was showing 0 KM/S. then i got off and saw the wire came off. i went to SC to get that checked as well as my bike would sometimes act like it was running out of fuel... so they told me some problem and got it done, and now also, the gears are better which is AWESOME!! Ill keep you guys updated


    P.S. Ill take bike pics as soon as i get it washed, its soo dirty right now freom mud. its horrible. damn rain

      Well last time i had this issue, had to change the plastic gear which was broken in the front wheel speedo mechanism. Check if you have he same issue. Else, Sometimes a metal gear that connect to the wire and revolves around the plastic gear gets stuck. It runs on forward movement but when you try to take the bike backward, it breaks the plastic gear time and again. I have faced this issue as well on my new ZMA, a local mechanic literally repaired it!
      Definitely not a electrical issue.

      Tacho is connected to engine so it should be running well. Fuel- diff. assembly with tank.

      Hope i could put the solution across.

        Guys I have been facing this problem from past few days.

        I am not able to shift gears when bike is idle,I mean shifting is really really hard but when bike is in motion gears shift smoothly.I have a brand new clutch cable and engine oil level is also fine.

        What would be causing this problem?


        Hi guys, its been 4 days since i got my black ZMA now. (whoopie!!!!) and in the mornin im having a hard time starting sometimes, it wont start with choke or without choke.... sometimes when i turnt he key to "on" the petrol meter will show reserve blinking. and when i turn it off and back on, it will show the right amount. is there something faulty with my bike???

            Well bike starting problem in morning is common.Welcome to the club,opening the fuel lid always starts the bike in one self-start for me.


            lol o ok, Well. i had said about the problem i had bout the bike acting as theres no fuel, well it came back today and i had to slowely rev it to 8K RPM but the bike never did shut off. is there a problem with the engine? i thought i had gotten it solved at the SVC but i guess not. wtf man.

              Sandeep, where did you get this done? I seem to be facing the same problem with my bike too..

                I got it done on the airport road from visharntwadi. a local mech.

                            confusion...pls help.... karizma or p220

                            am confused between whether to choose karizma R or P220.I need a bike to maintain for atleast 5 to 6 years , I dont like to change my bike often . Till now I am having spendour plus for 7 years , could you guys pls help me in choosing my bike? I need the following stuffs in my bike apart from speed .

                            1.) good for touring.
                            2.) reliability with durability , good stability, good for touring.
                            3.) Less mainenance (since for half of the year I ll be working in abroad ).
                            4.)a good headlamp ( I know that p220 has one, but if karizma's lamp can be changed to 55w without any problem, I would be happy coz i do a lot of night rides)

                            Actually I wanted to get karizma-zmr, but in my city (trichy-tamilnadu), zmr is yet to arrive, so I can only buy karizma-R....please also let me know the variants in karizma apart from zmr, coz sometimes I ve seen "zma" and "R" , is it both different?

                            Please help me

                              Hey mate, i faced the same issue twice within the first three months
                              As someone mentioned, its mainly because of a broken plastic gear in the front wheel speedo mechanism
                              I got it changed twice, first time being just 10 mins after i took the delivery of my bike

                                I faced the same issue, i went to the service center guys and they showed me that the aluminium gear assembly, where the plastic gear fits into, is bent. He did some hammerking job and it was ok, never faced that issue again for 6 months now.
