How to identify A Cable and B cable ( at shop, or do both cables come in single packing)? what's the difference?

Visor issue

Hello guys,,,

My karizma's front visor is in contact with the meter console n when i rev from 4 to 6 it jus vibrates n i am so pissed off...

so for temporary solution i put a rubber piece.... can anyone tell a permanent solution for this....

Open the fairing and refit it. If it does not work, put double tape/rubber inbetween, so that it will not visible outside.

The pack will have label on it, either A or B. If you want to recognize physically just with cable, there will be length difference a bit, and I do not what which one is a bit lengthy.

Why do you want to differentiate? When you buy just make sure it is A or B by label. Read the manual to know which one is A and which one is B.

ZMA problems

Hi People,

Have completed 11K in my ZMA-R brought last November. Recently there has been a drop in my millage, earlier it used to give me about 35-37 in cities and 41-42 in highways. Now its 32 in city condition and i have not checked in highways. Also there is a bit of sound from tappet. This happened after i took my bike to Sikkim. I am going to have my last free service day after tomorrow, also i am planning to change the disk pads and air filter change is a must as per HH. Apache RTR 160 disk pad will do right? What do i need to do for the millage issue?

Please help.

get your carb tuned by "EXPERT" and not with the svc

[they make worse even worser], this would suew solve your mileage issue. regarding disk pads isnt it too early to replace them[at just 11k]. i have seen and driven zma with even 30k on odo with stock pads.

regarding tappet sound utilise the two year warranty

My Zma had a mini service today! Bike started to behave weirdly since it came back from chennai 3 days back. Whole avg for the trip was ~25kmpl

thats 4000bucks for 1600kms

. My friend hit a tractor as soon as he crossed nellore, itseems the tractor driver decided to play ringa ringa rises on the highway. Headlight suffered few deep scratches, but thats abt it.

Cleaned the airfilter, oiled the throtle cable, Tuned the carb. Fairing was making lot of noise, opened it up, only to find the joints broken........damn! Now i have to replace the fairing and all the rear panel, guess that would cost me a cool 5-6k rs. Add to it i need to replace the tyres and the rear mudgaurd. Thats 10k rs

SVC did'nt chagre me for anything!

Zma is heavy on the pocket......atleast for me

You have just asked for the exact no. of childern adopted by Branjelina, everybody knows it but no one can be sure of a number.

It's between 30-45 depends upon riding style.
Zma-R has better than old zma due to its FE favouring tuning.

Very True...at least for Chennai SVC's
I never ask them to tune it but after I give my bike to svc,I get only 30-32 average
When I tune it, I get 36-38

hello karizma owners just one small query.

My friend wants to buy a bike for his daily commute he has slip disc history knee pain and other back related problems so i suggested him a karizma-r, he is 5.10 weighing around 72 kgs his daily commute is like 20 kms, and pune is a city of potholes as majority of them know. he is not a ripper just a normal rider who rides on weekend to kolhapur.

Whether my suggestion is right i dont know or if you can suggest something else it would be great, secondly he wants to buy the blue karizma -r but the pune outlet of pratham motor says its sold on special order for which waiting period is 3 mths and he has to pay extra 3k for the color. other outlets says blue color production is stopped by hh in gurgaon plant.

Was wondering whether its true for the blue colour or is it some other way around?

I enquired with a dealer here....here says its very much available.

My Zma's flasher conked off few days back. Indicators were not working. SVC's were out of stock....i got one today. 92rs!

make sure there is no scratches anywhere especially the silencer.

check up thoroughly all electricals, self starter etc.

and finally ENJOY

AND RULE THE ROADS

and after that do post loads of pics/

I have back problems and was admited to hospital once for 23day.. sold my P150 and brought the ZMA-R, now I am always game. Man ZMA is the one

Ok, sure. I dont know how im going to rule the streets because its raining here

my plan was to put it in "hibernation" for all rainy seasons...
