zzzzzzzzzzzmaaaa

Hi this is dream horse,

i joined the zma club from jan 2011......

After a long time i decided to go for zma and booked it by paying rs.3000/- as advance booking and delivery promised by 2 months but it took 5 months.....

As per my parents i took the bike in a nalla neram....

But even after waiting for 5 months hero honda was not happy so kept me waiting for one and half an hour....

Got bike flew to home feeling pride as i entered my home i found 4 issues with the bike

1 sticker where peeled
2 wheel wobbled
3 some strange noise
4 paint peeled on left side panel wich was not there while i took a chek b4 paying......

Later called hh on monday 3rd and said all the issues so took a leave on friday and show the bike to ss guys.....

They asked me to come today eve and collect....as im waiting i type this......waiting for an hour.......

Complaint said by them is exbaust gasket leaking which i just saw even in new zmr, splendors... & tyre problem....

This is really frustrating to wait like this....man F this guys......

congrats for your new bike, sad to hear such issues with new bike.

mine is a black with red alloy....

if u don't knock they will knock u down..............clarify all ur doubts b4 taking delivery catch the shirt of the sale guys if ur not satisfied..............

Umm... I don't think there are any wires inside the handlebars. Regarding the Bar end weights, did you check up with ess aay Auto KB?

A good 2004 model ZMA which is 45k on Odo fetches close to 46k in Bangalore & I really doubt that someone would give a 2007 model with just 28k on odo for 43k

As sarvajit said check the bike throughly with a known mech, ZMA's spares are very costly & it can leave you with a deep pocket if something to do with engine work

One of my friend changed Engine internal parts after half seizure & he was left with 21k bill after changing bore, piston, cam shaft etc

..So i let it go..Meanwhile i am getting a 2009 model with 9400kms on odo for 54k..What to do now?I don;t know if he had intentionally stopped his odometer reading..How can i get exact reading?

Its been close to 8 months now. Not a new one. Bought it from a fellow xbhpian! I had the P220 money with me. I was back to my RTR and bro did'nt have a bike. He test rode a Zma and liked it instantly. Same time one of our member was selling his for r15 so i picked it up!

I did'nt crash. Unfortunately, it was my dad. A moron just took a U turn in the middle of the road to avoid getting caught by traffic cops, a guy infornt on my dad crashed into him and eventually my dad too. It was on slow speed. Bike fell on my dad's foot, he has 2 fractures in his foot. Bed ridden for a month now

BTW, that MF got away before anyone could react!

So i can execpt a bill around 5k. I have taken it to the SVc. Will do it probably sometime next week!

dont worry
if you even had an accident
you can claim it .....
you just need to wait for few days ...until cover-note comes

Check the wear of chain and the tyre. that should give you an idea!

im 5.6 ft and 60 kg. will a karizma r suite me. asking cos theres a used zma-r up for sale. i know the owner and the bike is in imaculate condition. hes offering me a good price. one more query is that the carb has been upjetted to 130 and a k&n has beed fitted. so what sort of mileage do i expect.

To be Honest , You can ride ZMA but you will find it hard to handle in heavy Traffic condition..it's a great bike..first ride it for few Kms and then Decide..

Am 52kgs. I ride the zma. No problems for me.

Definitely you can go for the bike, no issues at all.

it is better if you can get an stock bike.. generally, people fit k&n and upjet unly when they face issues.. this causes the valves to get damaged and the life is reduced.. so as far as possible, get a stock bike.

if you know the owner well, and you are sure that he has not been fcuking arround with the bike, get it. else stay away

just bought an iridium spark plug for 550.

my bike is standing idle for last 15 days as i drive car during winters.

i installed it and started the bike, there isnt much difference except that idle RPM is not fluctuating much, didn't drive coz of cold.

it doesn't resolve cold start problem either, have to put the choke.

now i have removed and will install after service this weekend.

How many KM will they last?

Bro there is a thin metal wire inside handle bar which also include rubbers which ensures the bar end weights to get screwd up from the edges...and where is ess aay Auto KB located i reside at rohini S-13
