@pabi..I maybe wrong but if its a used Karizma chances are the bike must be ripped a lot.Apart from handling issues and panel problems..i suggest u get the engine thoroughly checked i.e timing chain, cam tensioner and piston issues if any (check for white smoke from the silencer).

All as advise by fellos + dont forget to ride the bike at spped of 70 to 90 and leave hands if it vibrates the handle bar then better leave the business as rectifing this issue will take lot of time and moneyOriginally posted by pabi View Posthi all, i have decided to get a used zma-r , help me what to check when buying the bike . what might be the common problems that i need to check while buying like pickup, and can you guys tell me the RPM to speed for a stock zma-r like in 3rd gear at 3000rpm what speed it should ideally tick. through light on some common probs.
bike will be around 35K-40K km old, 2005/2006/2007 models.
and this is utmost common problem in used bike and check the disc brake through main stand and run tyre by ur hand both sides as disc plate and disc itself cost close to 11k

@ all
hi friends
please explain me about zma niggles or de-merits as I am totally confused between zma and rtr180...
kindly give me valuable suggestions...
and tell me is it worth to pay 10k more and get around 5km/ltr less mileage in comparison to rtr...???
also i have listened that zma's spares are very expensive and its rear panels get cracked easilyLast edited by Naveen1985; 12-14-2010, 02:04 PM.sigpic

go fro zma.......panels don't get cracked so easily. it happens only when u drive in severely bad conditions.
TD both and see the difference."Biking is Divine"

Guys,
Need some help here. I have a Osram Silverstar in my zma. Along with that I have an extra HH stock Horn with a relay. But when the headlight, tail lamp and break light are all in use and when I honk, the twin horns cry literally !!
Note that this happens more during low RPMs (Say in Traffic signals) inspite of the presence of the relay. What can be done to prevent this ?? I have the stock 7A battery. Please help !!Motorsports - Because in football, basketball, golf and cricket, you only need one ball! ;)

you are litteraly killing your battery with the kind of load in the electrical system!! i suggest that you change your battery to a higher amp rating.also note that the relay is a device which actually takes the load off from the switch thus preventing it from getting damaged
