Bro life is all about making people happy anyways i am talking about unladen weight not Kerb weight i.e 150 kg (approx)as per many websites and i am sayin this as this is what written on my RCOriginally posted by Jithu View PostHA HA HA .. Man you are really funny ..
Bro if you dont know the correct facts please find it out before posting some thing like this .
I think you accidentally placed two karizmas instead of one when trying to find the weight . I cant stop laughing reading the Weight and grip part ..
No offense meant ..
and if u drive both zma's one after another ull surely feel the difference in all aspects in classic one spl grip....... execpt milage

Spot on AnmolOriginally posted by anmol_1990 View Postwell there is not any technically difference in terms of specification in both versions..........
i guess that the earlier zma engine parts were imported from some other country.......and this one is manufactured here(engine i mean)
rest there is difference in number of clucth plates and cdi.
i think there isnt any document issued by HH which explains any such difference, all this is assumed[as told by a mechanic etc] by all in one or other way.
...anyways imported parts and difference in number of clucth plates and cdi are enough to justify the statement...

Man, I envy you.
I got 40+ when I rode at constant 80 kmph on NH4.
Can't comment on above 100 as when I rode it so with a pillion, average was as bad as 30 or below.

I have owned a Zma for 2.5 years and one thing I can quote is that the engine is absolutely the same. the only difference is the looks, if there is a difference of 130 kgs on the same engine imagine what it will do to the acceleration and top speed.Originally posted by sambrother View PostBro life is all about making people happy anyways i am talking about unladen weight not Kerb weight i.e 150 kg (approx)as per many websites and i am sayin this as this is what written on my RC

. I have ridden the old Zma and it does not weigh 288 kgs - no way .
the quote on weight and stability was funny- it will be great if you can explain how the r15 remains so stable despite being much lighter than the zma?

Thanks man. btw will it be suitable for my height? i am just 164cmsOriginally posted by sambrother View PostBro it anyways depends on how much bike has ripped as few people can rip the bike even below 10k mark
if u are thinking to buy ZMA with actual raw power with a stable japanese engine...then try and get classic model which ends by 2006,,,it will cost u around max 35k depending on wear and tear...and trust me i own it its still way better then new one available...
Ride Safe!!

Bro i wonder u ask this question regarding r15 as we all know that it has a Delta box frame which is designed for stability and racing DNA itself however the stability can only b check on higher rpm's and R15 is at its best above 6k only...Originally posted by steveburnside2001 View PostI have owned a Zma for 2.5 years and one thing I can quote is that the engine is absolutely the same. the only difference is the looks, if there is a difference of 130 kgs on the same engine imagine what it will do to the acceleration and top speed.

..it is indeed light and fast but with a pillion all qualties go for toss...ride and feel the diff urself with zmaR with a average pillion no matter what u do couch, stand or dance it wont go above 120km/h however i can assure u with classic zma u can easily go to 130-135+ its tested with all wear and tear + same conditions...however its still *(conditions apply)

hey peeps..!!
so i bought a zma-r last month
...the byk has been ausum to me...
yet to get it's first service.. but i have noticed that when i ride the byk for lyk 2-3 kms the idle rpm sets to 2... mostly around it...but in the manual it is written that it should be around 1.4 ...m a bit worried...but at first wen i start the byk rpm is norman..it's only after the engine becomes hot that it sets itself around 2...is it normal?!?

agreed, the only reason the r15 struggles with a pillion is because of its 150cc heart. regarding speeds - 130 135 heck you may even see 145 on the speedo of a zma. check with a speed gun and you will know what reality is all about. both versions of the zma have huge speedo errors and varies from machine to machine as well.Originally posted by sambrother View PostBro i wonder u ask this question regarding r15 as we all know that it has a Delta box frame which is designed for stability and racing DNA itself however the stability can only b check on higher rpm's and R15 is at its best above 6k only...
