I think the cam tensioner problem is for Pre-R Model karizma, also HH had reduced the cam tensioner's price from 2000 to 420rs Go for karizma...

        • Does anyone know if HH sells caliper rebuild kits for the zma? I basically need the rubber piston seals/Dust seals/O-rings. The ones on my bike are pretty much rock hard!

Is anyone here experiencing a phenomenon where the rpm drops very slowly like as if there is an airleak? Its getting on my nerves now! Ive checked the entire carb and cleaned it as well. Changed the intake manifold and tubings but to no avail! Any pointers?

Its an 05 ZMA run around 60k!

                  • Just an update- The HH dealers here dont have the seals but they confirmed that HH sells it for around 365 bucks! Apparently the bajaj repair kit cost 80 bucks only! Unfortunately they cant be used for the zma caliper!

                    • In my previous bike pulsar 150 i remember the bajaj mechanic tuning my bike and then applied fewiquick to the air screw. He told this way i won't face any issues and it can still be unscrewed if its necessary. For 6 years i rode the bike like this without any problems what so ever until i sold it , other then diff mechanics complaing that the screw is jammed while servicing.

My question is should i do something like this for my Karizma as it seems from the forum there are many tuning issues and cold start probs ?

Also where exactly is this tuning screw located if i am seeing the bike from the kick start lever side ? A pic will be helpful here.

The screw is accessible from the fuel knob side and not from kick lever side.

use choke on first start it will resolve cold start issue.

                          • Cold start or morning start issue is due to the small size of the pilot jet ,
Its just a matter of few 100 meters ride with choke and the bike is back to normal.

Better to live with it than to fix somethings thats not broken

james, i think the apache rtr seals would suit you. do compare and see if it is a direct fit

                              • Cold start problem is not something to be made an issue of. Choke start, accelerate a little and ride down a few mtrs thats it!

A legendary bike like RX100 too had cold start probs, not a big deal.
