^^^ It should be well with-in 5K. (if done outside a HH SVC)
The bracket that you are talking about if its welded then you will have to source a new swing arm (of the ZMR) cause you will not get that part individually.
Just follow the brake pipe it would lead you to the master cylinder

For oil leak from Gear shaft area...three possibilities.
1. Drive shaft oil seal.
2. Gear shaft oil seal
3. Neutral indicator connecting stub '0' ring.
All parts are available....In my ZMA I had oil leak from Gear shifter side and even after changing Drive shaft and gear shifter oil seals problem continued...then it was foundto be the Neutral indicator connecting stub ..replaced at Rs.28/- from HH...with outside Mech.
A Picture of specific area will help.

What about the gear shifting problem?

its not coming from the exhaust ,i found air leaking from AFR screw it is pushing the screw outside , previously my carb AFR screw threading was gone so i used a tape on the screw slot so that it doesn't leak air inside .now its leaking air outside

i also found water in the breather pipe near to petrol tank [recently gave my bike for servicing may be its an effect of water wasing]can this cause any prob.

Yes.

2.Have you any complaints with the engine for Rings to be changed ?....even then changing rings is not the solution.

Dont know but the mech suggested me to change it.BUt i dont think its necessary as there is no problem with those part.

4.Can't make any sense out of this

I think its the hole cap o ring.

5.This can definitely cause oil leak IF not ok

6.could you tell me what is this thing? ....I guess it is the Clutch CASING...

I dont have slips,From today morning,somethings wrong with the 2nd gear,very very hard,had to lift 2 to 3 times to put the 2nd gear,So he told me to get this too

That bracket is welded in ZMR. What we can do is go to a welder and make a similar looking bracket and get it welded in the zma. Can be done for 100 bucks. The tricky part is to find the right spot for welding. See if you can find the prices of all the required components. Are they readily available here in bangalore?
And regarding the rear master cylinder i could'nt get a closer look. Is there a provision to mount that in zma ?

Leaking air throught Afr screw looks like a bigger issue. Maybe more senior members can help you.

i doubt welding is going to work. Try finding out if the bracket alone can be sourced.

can you post any pic of the engine the highlighting the leaks?also buy an extra tappet cover with o-ring because they are prone to break on overtighting.my drain plug broke once and i had to look at each and every spare parts shop for a suitable replacement(tappet cover and drain plug are of the same size)

As i am not experiencing any clutch slips,I am not going to change my clutch casing.Now i am going to change:

Gasket Kit
Oil Seals
Valve Seal
Standard Rings
Hole cap & O-Ring
Clutch plate (Only 80 RS)
Spark Plug
Air Filter

And all these will cost me around 1400RS.

The price quoted for clutch plates might be for single ones as in 1 plate only. Check again.
i had a similar problem of leakage near the starter motor and had only a bolt to be tightened.

aneesh,before you remove the clutch side also
please enquire about the availability of clutch bell housing so when you service your clutch if there is any scratches/hard lining you could replace that.also can you enquire about some parts for me. it is not available here in trivandrum and the svc here are not so keen about ordering it.

Ok i will ask the svc,I had checked ,The leak is from the top mainly.

valve seal is nothing but looks like this

itz just those rubber seals man..

Piston rings cos as the engine will go for an open heart surgery so they advise to change the piston rings its not may be an issue with it but it hardly matters ..
