I got the philips extreme bulb fitted. Its a direct fit no relay, etc. Much better illumination than stock bulb. Only problem is i had to purchase a pair for 1200 mrp. I have one extra with me now.

Also got rid of the rear zapper today and fixed M45 4.00x18. A direct fit no need to do any bending or removing chain cover. pickup is also same, no difference felt. Now my confidence has improved in the corners and looks much better too. on the front i have 90/90 18 Mrf zapper fs.

I think these 3 mods are a minimum to enjoy the bike fully.

I am not sure how it'll effect mileage, i have been getting only 30kmpl till now

. Bike has run 2300km only.

lol.. This is a funny looking crash guard. But i feel this design will absorb the impact without transmitting the shocks to the fairing,etc. All your shots are zoomed in , can u take full picture of the bike so we can get an idea about the proportions. I think i might jus go for it. So this is the Fz crash guard , direct fit right ? Please let me know the price.

No, not like that, I gave my bike to a garage which is recommended by a few x-bhpians at pune, and the guy has promised delivery in one week.. estimated bill of 20k without changing the meter console , front shocks !
Any ideas how much the stickers cost? original? gonna make it look like ZMA-R now!

yeah.. even thats possible, but my fall was on to the road to the left, nonetheless, gonna fit a crashguard, from the forum i have gathered that the cbz-xtreme crashguard is direct fit? rite?

Today morning while riding in the traffic my bike stalled. I pressed the self start , the bike started but was idling at 1k rpm instead of usual 1500 rpm , but as soon as i open the throttle even a lil bit the engine goes off

. I tried this nearly 5 times and same thing kept happenning

. Finally when i kick started it the bike sprang to life as if nothing happened.

Any 1 faced similar issue, do i need to get anything checked ?

Other minor concerns are
-when i rip the bike say in 4th gear and while slotting to 5th and give acceleration the bike for a fraction of a second goes burrr... then continues normally.
- mileage only 30kmpl

I service it at herohonda showroom in the ring road near Domlur. Suggest any better places as this one sucks big time

Bike had a fall

There is a Labrador in the next building whose dam hyper & keeps on jumping on people for no reason. Today morning when he was on his rounds with his owner, he just pounced on my bike & it fell of the stand

. I heard the bang & looked out of my window & it my bike which had fallen down to the right hand side.

Immeditale went out & shouted at that bugger

and told me that he will pay for all the damages done. Picked up the bike to check for damages. Only damages are handle bar going upwards, bar end weights scratched, brake pedal missallignment, small scratch on the RH indicator & the fairing.

Went straight to the SVC & asked him to change the damaged parts. They have changed the following parts:

Handle bar & bar end weights. Realligned the brake pedal & everything is fine now.

But I noticed a difference in the handle bar position. Its much wider than the previous one. Can somebody please confirm the part number. Here it is 53100KFN850S .

Will post a picture of the handle bar.

Thanks for the response buddy. But the handle is more wider than the previous one. Will post a picture soon to see the difference.

Meanwhile can you please post a pic of your new handle.

So far, have been patient to decide and even do initial booking, now after making the payment and seeing a white ZMA-R waiting at the showroom is something which is not making me happy.

hissing sound from engine

i am hearing some hissing kind of sound from engine this sound comes after i ride some kms may be 20+ though i am not sure when this starts its in sync with the engine beat .what might be the problem?

Tighten the nuts of the exhaust pipe where it connect to the engine. Exhaust air leaking at that joint can create this kind of noise.

Is it ok,if i warm up my engine at 2000-3000 rpm instead of the idle rpm in mornings. I don't use choke quite often because when choke is applied, less air with more fuel enters engine and i feel that incomplete combustion occurs with more carbon deposits .
