Sir,what about Gulf pride plus 20w40? I don't know much oils, could you recommend me some good brands? What about castrol?motul? I don't want very costly oils.

Change every 2,000 or 3,000 Kms....while monitoring oil for change in color.Change before it becomes black
Yeah,I usually change HH Oem oil @ every 1000Kms,it will become black in color very earlier, even @ 1000kms it looks like tar and it wont last i think...

I am currently using Gulf Pride 4T plus 20W40 with good result. i had done about 350 Kms and oil looks new. The previous owner was getting the servicing done at Honda SVC and the oil was black and thick..After changing to this oil Bike feels smooth and less noisy.Oil cost me 200/- for 900ml.

Very True...it is 10W30 and comes in barrel...Oil deteriorates and becomes black soon.

Try to read the fine printing it will be smudged and you can't make out the letters, and the printing /pasting of carton will not be centered .

The chain cover is a direct bolt on and fits with out any welding to either the swing arm or the chain cover.
Since its plastic if needed the holes could be made and easily tightened with bolts.

You said the Enticer one is direct fit but i couldn't source one. Tried the dazzlers and pulsar's but hole doesnt match. Gladiators is straight fit?

                    • ^^^ Yes the one from Yamaha Enticer. Try J.C Road, its hard to find but not impossible.
Why don't you fix the rear end first and then make a hole on the cover for the second bolt (behind the swing arm) and simple make the necessary hole to ft the other end of the cover. Being plastic it would be simple and easy....

I have tried covers from pulsar, Gladiator but all are weak and tear apart after a few days...I suggest you may try the one from Apache also.

                        Thanks for the info bro.
Will try to get hold of the Enticer's only. Else will order it from showroom.
I don't want any torn chain case on my ZMR

                          Hi,

Has anybody put up Michelin Pilot Sporty 100/90/18 TL at the rear.

How is the ride after the change & is it better than M45?

                              OMG what a mod
hats of to the guy who did this, havent seen a better mod job on any bike in india

the attention to detail is immaculate (just see the front mudguard and how the engine cowl has been designed and fitted)

the bumblebee color scheme also adds to the glory

is any R&D guy with HH taking notes, that if they have an R&D dept. in the first place
i am growing old, but not up!

Taking into consideration that your bike has already done 4k on the odo. I would suggest to switch to semi-synthetic oil for smoothness and better rev during long rides. This is always been my choice.

Mineral oils does give value for money, no doubt. However, there needs to be a frequent change. Also, it doesn't lasts when a rider supposedly revving at higher rpms more on a regular basis.

Semi-Synthetic/Synthetic oils has an edge as they are specifically designed to withstand high revving and performs well. Though I'm not technically sound when it comes to chemicals, would go by the experience that I had with my bikes. The gear shift will be lot smoother, their chemical composition would keep the engine cool and lasts over a period of time.

You have brands:- Motul, AGIP, Shell, Petronas etc. I would hesitate recommending Castrol engine oils as there are lot fakes that has been in circulation in the market. I would not risk my bike with Castrol than go for Motul with closed eyes. Yes, Motul are costly and they are premium brand. When we care so much about our bikes, spending little extra money on the oil would definitely worth any day should you ask me!
