Any one knows how much does these guards costs?

I have tried covers from pulsar, Gladiator but all are weak and tear apart after a few days...I suggest you may try the one from Apache also.

Is apache's a direct fit?

How is this oil from gulf for zma-R.. Its 10W30 as recommended in manual.
Gulf Pride 4T plus 10W-30 - Lubricants for Two Wheelers by Gulf Oil India

And is this better?
Gulf Tec 10W-40 - Engine Oil for Cars and Utility Vehicles by Gulf Oil

Why do you want to go for Car's engine oil on your vehicle? They are not suited at all. As it says, it is never meant for the two wheelers. If want to try Gulf, stick to the Pride 4T plus and 10w30 will be the spec.

If you have time...kindly go through the engine oil section to understand and learn about different oils that are available in the market. Please do some research before you could ask a question. We are here to help, however, if there is some level of understanding would help the seniors to give right answers.

i have a 2008 karizma r model... i would like to know if someone has fitted ZMR Clip-on handles to the ZMA-R... If yes, what was the cost...

Guys today i saw ZMR with ZMA's Rear Fairing including tail lights,It looks better to me than the zmr's tail.Full white one.

Oh!

I thought ZMR has bettered ZMA-R in the tail light section with LEDs. Infact, it is one of the upgrades according to HH.

I like the LED tails but dont like that Winkers.It looks like gladiator.

Yes, I agree. They could have just added the LEDs alone and left the blinkers like it used to be in ZMA-R. Anyways, it sells!

OT:- I visited the showroom today and saw the same ZMA-R standing still beautifully smeared with dust and gave a new blend to the color white. God knows who's the lucky guy to get his hands on. Right now, I have disengaged the idea of taking that bike and waiting for the new lot to arrive. They say 'Patience pays'; however, I have paid and being patient enough!

thanks bro... that was really helpful. but 5K is a wee bit on the higher side dont u think... i think i will have to wait for another contract on sea before installing those...

Yes gulf is a car engine oil and so is castrol magnatec which people in xbhp recommened for Karizma.See the link Castrol India - Castrol Magnatec
Gulf 10w40 is of same spec as of magnetec and at the same time cheaper so wanted to know which is better as it could help other members too.
And i have gone through the engine oil section the 10W40 car oil(magnetec, gulf) seems more ideal as it helps for wider operating temp of the engine and has more drain period. I see no harm in using a car oil of right spec as long as its a four stoke oil. Pl pour in your thoughts too and correct me if i am wrong.

I would suggest a rational thinking when it comes to compare with examples quoted. They may be right, I may be wrong!
When there is no difference in the spec for the link specified, why they did not utter a word that this oil would also cater two wheelers? Have you thought about it? Moreover, there will be temperature operating range for each category classified. I would only suggest you to make comparison in the same vertical. There are people who had tried the multi-grade/car engine oil have suffered performance output.

There might be many things running inside your head after seeing this post. All I would say is if you are willing to experiment, do a test by running the Castrol Magnatec /car oil and let me know. I would be glad to learn few every day.
