your clutch switch can be the culprit. Its a small mechanism present in the clutch lever holder. OEM switch will cost you 25rs. Forgot, check your clutch lever as well because such problem can also arise if the pressing part of the clutch lever is damaged. Lever will cost you around 60 bucks.Originally posted by Vijay1911 View PostHi!

Two wires goes into your clutch lever.Upper wire is to start in neutral while the lower one is for starting in gear.Originally posted by Vijay1911 View PostHi!

Check if any of them is broken or the clip has come out.

^^^^^^+1, i heard the same to same (dittoOriginally posted by suhasn46 View PostExperts I need some help.
Just got my zma serviced yesterday and my mechanic tells me the air screw is jammed and he's not able to tune the bike now. I can feel the bike is not tuned and the ride is a bit sluggish.
Now coming to the point, i understand that it has to be machined in a lathe. Can somebody precisely explain what is to be done here?
Also, I understand this is a common problem in zma or other carb'ed bikes and the other problem is the availability of air screw. Can somebody who's faced a similar problem throw light on this?
) story from my mechanic today evening at a service center here in hyderabad, I requested him not to mount any pressure on air screw as it may lead to complications. As I am planning to decarbonise the deposits in my next servicing, the mechanic said, he can remove carb and soak it for a day to free the air screw which is jammed.. is this advisable? or a right solution/approach to the present cause..?
