      it doesn't resolve cold start problem either, have to put the choke.

      now i have removed and will install after service this weekend.

      How many KM will they last?
      After installing iridium plug in my zma-r, the average is 40-42KMPL overall mileage.
      earlier the mileage as 35-38, so definitely iridium improves mileage.

        A week back I went to HH service station along with Rakesh (ZMR) for the service of ZMR. I found HH is using "Hero Honda 4T Plus" oil manufactured by Servo. I don't know how good the oil than Idemitsu. Rakesh was definitely not feeling comfortable with that oil. Finally, we filled in the Honda's 20w40 oil and it felt good initially. Will have to see how far this lasts.

        Castrol power 1 is utter waste for the price. Instead Petronas Sprinta 5000 Fully Synthetic is very much worth at 450 bucks. I have used it in many honda engines (Stunner, Unicorn Dazzler, Karizma, Aviator, R-15, etc) and it felt really well. I guess its easy to source this in Bombay. Anybody wants an oil change, can give a try.

        EDIT: Just now spoke to Rakesh and he is feeling extremely happy with Honda oil. I am sure this would be a cheap and best option for Karizma.

          Anna, thanks for that info. Its been a long time i've been to hh svc for generat servicing. But when i bought oil from hh svc last time (before 6 months i guess) I bought 10 bottles that time and all of them were manufactured by Idemitsu. It was around 175rs per bottle but heard that its 200rs now. Even the colour of oil can is changed, what i have is golden and its white now which is a Servo make i suppose.
          Any one else noticed this?

              Mobil 1 and Motul are expensive at around 800 rupees per liter. Petronas is just at 450 rupees and is fully synthetic, a cheaper option if somebody wants to go for a fully synthetic.

                  I bought one can of 800ml Honda oil so that I can use it for topup of my Dazzler or Aviator if needed. He used that.

As I am planning to decarbonise the deposits in my next servicing, the mechanic said, he can remove carb and soak it for a day to free the air screw which is jammed.. is this advisable? or a right solution/approach to the present cause..?

                          ^^^looks like I have found a solution for this problem, its simple,one can get this spray at all hero honda service centers. it is Zorrik 88 spray generally used to lubricate the key holes/switches like indicators/head lamps. I have read the instructions mentioned on the back of the bottle and felt like we can use this spray on small tightened or jammed screws/nuts,I asked one of the mechanic to try this and he said it worked well..,I am going to try this in my next service. check for thumbnails attached for pics of spray..

                          @all,
                          wanted to hear more ideas, thoughts or experiences on this spray..

                              This is the first time i am posting in this thread. Needed some advise regarding the battery of the ZMA-R. The battery of my ZMA-R is now totally dead and wanted to know which is the best battery I can go for as a new one. Also I would like to know if I should get a higher Amp battery in case I need to install an HID or higher wattage bulb in future or just stick to the current rating ones.

                              Thanks,
