Though the bulb was Philips bought from the car spares shop, but I'm looking for CBR's stock headlight which is also 60/55w. The quality of the product comes along with the bike is completely different from what is available in the retail market. Atleast I have seen in the Philips stock bulb bought for my Unicorn from Honda.
I would suggest not to put 55/60 already the stock bulb is giving off lots of heat when turned on if u put 55/60 i seriously think its going to burn the reflector at least a little around the bulb bit while doing long trips try HID's its cooler. Well am not too much experienced, correct me if i am wrong

I was using Phillips 55/60 bulb and have ride continuously for 3-4 hrs switching it ON. Never faced any issues like that
But Yes...it makes lots of heat compared to HID's.

                in highways Man...
And they are not 100% brighter than 35/35 stock. First I changed my stock to 55/60 phillips, then to 6000k xenon and then 4300k bixenon.
Running on the bi xenon from last 1 year and now thinking of getting a 55/50 bi xenon or a auxilary lamp.Human tendency...nothing is enough

I know HID is lot cooler, however, they do not pierce through in rains/misty environment. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Let me see what happens to the reflector when used 55/60w.

As far as I know HH Hunk headlight type is HS1 which is compatible with H4 bulbs. I don't see any issue as it would be a direct fit. Try it out.

Very true...and if the HID is a inferior quality without Quartz shield, you will also get High UV radiation.

                              • Guys need advice on oil change...
tomorow my bike will clock 150kms and was thinking abt doing an oil change... aneesh advised to go for Gulf Pride 4T Plus 20w40.. And when i searched the net mostly everyone recomends this but the problem is.. I saw one of psr sir's post indicating something about synthetic oil, so i just wanted to know whether the above's semi synthetic or mineral and whether its advisable to use semi synthetic this early???

(i knw its easier for me to ask aneesh, but i assume he's in bed by now and it'd b inapropriate to disturb him)
