    what is your ambient temperature ? To get to operating temperature of engine ride normally for 2 Kms and then set the idle RPM at 1,400...this is the minimum supported RPM by spec. if ambient gets colder than 30 C cold start idle RPM may have to be raised.
    After this warm up ride and find out if the bike still feels heavy...Check your plug color...white is lean AFR, light tan correct setting and a dark tan richer AFR.

      Boric powder addition in engine

      Just got a mail from one of my friend so thought of sharing it. It mentions of scientist working on project for adding Boric pwder to engine oils.

        Scientists working??? If i remember correctly.Psr is having boric treatment in his karizma from past and is working excellent.

          Also in my old Esteem sold 3yrs back, in my KB100 still with me and the 2001 Lancer......Karizma more recently.

                Ha ha ha.So you want to get the best joke of the year award ?....read the link and you will understand how much work had been done...In fact since World War II the Germans and Japs knew of its property but could never get it right..It is the particle size which is important, and they never thought about it .Now commercially in U.S Motor Silk is using it .

                  BTW bought 2 Tail light bulbs.
                  Price 15rs/Piece.
                  So total 30Rs. Changed both of them same time and kept another in my drawer.

                  Also got a Duplicate of my lisence done,just 40rs.

                    @psr
                    i wanted to tune my karizma for FE ,its on stock setting so i turned it 360 clockwise. Engine sound has changed it sometimes sounds like a enfield when at idle RPM.
                    Do i need to change the RPM? did i do the right thing ? and after a 15kms trip iT sounds wierd when at idle RPM ,Idle RPM 1200 when cold and 1500 when hot.
                    PLEASE HELP!!
                    will upload the sound clip as soon as possible

                      Turning AFR screw clockwise makes the mix lean, and you will get better FE than before........Your hot and cold RPMs are ok.
                      If your silencer sounds like Enfield, check for hole in silencer.

                          can you just tell me, if i keep turning clockwise till it stop then how much should i turn anticlockwise for stock settings and for best FE as i am a sane rider does not need acceleration....

                            psr sir's tried and tested by many setting is 4 full turns anticlockwise. After that ride your bike for a while and check the FE and spark plug color. Make half turns accordingly if not satisfied.

                              No but you can use it..it will be printed on pack as BEARING GREASE.also comes in Foil pack.

                              Yes absolutely correct...Each engine and rider gets to have different setting to suit their needs...I had clarified the basics , and stock setting to get a reliable start..
