Yes the caliper does move a tab bit on braking! Its mounted onto the mounting plate with the help of rubber bushes. The movement will be a bit more as the pad on the inner side wears down. If it moves too much and the bite is insufficient, then they have probably not put the inner pad on the spring properly.

Regarding the sound you keep hearing, it would come when the pad isn't fixed on the spring properly of if the two mounting bolts used to mount the caliper to the fork legs arent fastened properly.

    Cheers!

Checked everything bro..Everything's fastened properly... Dad says the petrol might've made the pads dry, which in turn is the cause of this sound... Anyways only time can tell what the real cause is...

Or not change at all till the 2nd one too blows .-how would it look if the tail lamp glows in only one side and the brake lamp in only the other side ? the tail lamp consumes 5W and the brake lamp 21W . I'm thinking about putting together an LED cluster to save 'watts' which is being consumed by my 55/60W headlight bulb .

                        No way for that.

Its like low beam and high beam in headlight.Tail light is low beam, when pressing brake, high beam lights. Correct me if i am wrong.

Some one in the forum had done it.

                        • Do we have LED enthusiast seeing this post?

Ok, this is what I'm looking for. I'm currently running on 55/60w headlight and it is much needed for me. It does a good job. However, I would like to change the Tail Lamps to LED having the same brightness, but not taking out the one of the bulbs to save some watts!

                              • ^ Yes.

I have seen this posted by James if I'm not wrong sometime back. However, these are available only with Navnesh Bangalore. Well, to my experience, always wanted to see the light after plonking on to the bike than on picture. Sometimes shutter timing lags, you'll see the picture exaggerating the light which is unreal.
