Regarding the FE, I read your post few pages back that if the bike is running rich then the difference in rpm at hot and cold is very less but in my case the difference is more, does this is due to the ambient temps that if the bike is running rich then also the difference is there ?

And regarding the clutch adjustment, I need to adjust nuts on both the sides as you mentioned in the pic or just one on the RHS, I did the same as per the manual and din't find any difference.

Check carburetor pipe for damage(Rubber pipe connecting airbox and carburetor) Air leak may cause hiccups.

Me too have same doubt, mine cold idles @ 1200-1400rpm,aftr short rides it will become 1500 or 1600rpm,aftr riding through city traffic for long time,it will be @ 2000rpm,What will be the problem?is it due to ambient temperature?

You need to adjust both the nuts, otherwise it will come to its old position when engine vibrates.

          Will check that one too.

@ psr sir : Adjusted both nuts, somewhat succeded but was unable to do for the throttle cable, loosened the locknut and adjusted the nut to reduce the play but nothing positive occured. Can you tell me steps for this that are need to be taken exactly.

          • Went to the mechanic today and got the Tensioner Gasket changed. Its a good thing that I dint do it myself, coz then I wouldnt have known about setting the right tension in the same.

Also got the Carb breather tube fixed. Thanks everyone for your advice.

Now the only major issues with the bike are its body parts. Some are kinda repairable but theres this part near one of the windscreen screw, that has kinda chipped off and hence resulting in the screw left loose.

            • Hey everyone... Ive been facing a strange issue...
Yesterday my zma's front disc whent numb took it to svc and they washed with petrol... And the bite was kinda back to normal. But today when i tried braking. My bike made strange noise.. At first i thought my numplate was kissing the front guard but nothing of that sort happened, Its a strange sound, not screaching, its like when you rub your hand against a rubber balloon sort of noise but louder....

A squeezing noise may be normal, some times it occur due to rubbing of pads on disk plate,or may be due to dirt,But no idea about the "rub your hand against a rubber balloon sort of noise but louder"

At the throttle grip, after loosening the lock nut you have to thread the long nut ..out.,ie.,turn it anticlockwise..If it doesn't work then adjust at the carburetor end..the black plastic dummy must be removed ,and the lock nut of left side screw, under the cable holder made loose and top nut tightened to take off the throttle slackness.

Newer wash your disc with petrol or kerosene, the brake pads will absorb it and your braking will be reduced drastically and as you said it will make funny noises,go to an open stretch and brake hard few times the problem should get solved.Telling this from my experience.
