May the know the modifications to be done in ZMA-R 2011 for HID fittings.I believe it is maintenance free battery.
There is a cage like structure inside which the battery sits..This is small in all 2011 model ZMA-R since HH had switched to 6 AH exide battery...Originally ZMA used 7 AH and it used to be bigger, and so with a little adjustments a bigger 9 AH battery could be fitted...but with a smaller battery cage it is not possible...so try sourcing it from HH spares sales center and get it fitted in SVC itself.....Part No 1 is the component...there is a PART No and DESCRIPTION which must be quoted for purchase from HH.

Without removing the engine cowl?! That's a first, we all need the details please. Did you have to do any modification to the crash guard? And which crash guard is that? how/where/what exactly was it fitted on to? A close up picture of the bolted area would be great.

The SVC guys here also teflon the disk rotor, so the brakes will loose the bite, and hence wont lock up.

You never know what's waiting for you out there on the roads, I say go for the crash guard.
What happened? Did you get hit??

And thank god you'r alright, its because of his grace you'r still with us to post the pics.

Amaron all the way. Take a look at Aneesh's post for the guide.

Am planning to do the above, but still confused about the one I should get.
Crash guard for the one with under cowl or not?

Yes. However, this is plated/chrome. I have a normal black color.
This one where you can bolt on to the ZMA frame (directly), suggest to go to mechanic.

Saw it on a brand new ZMA. Was parked inside the college compound so had to sneak a pic, thats why I was'nt able to take a better pic.

Me and Aneesh went to original yamaha spare parts dealer, and he showed me a different type and said the bar ones are "CHATHAN" ones. So went to another shop where they specifically sell "CHATHAN" stuff, and thats where we found this.
But was'nt able to find a matte one, only chrome's available. And how much did it cost you?? The guy asked 300 for it.

May be the owner changed pilot lamp (like me) soon as he got the bike.

Here we get crash bar for hardly 200-250, depends. 'Chetan', 'Swastik' brand sounds familiar from yester years of RX100. However, not sure of CHATHAN. Don't you think chrome finish might spoil the overall look on your blackie?

As i calculated on xBhp only 10 comments per page , so if there are already 10 comments on page then the next comment would be on new page

What is that ? I accidently sprayed zorrik 88 on my rear disc brake's disc & the brake is really loose , bike won't stopping , luckly i got it within time , then washed the disc & cleaned it

there is no need of that already the brake lacks bite as compared to pulsar and i am dead sure that above 60 speeds even if you slam the brakes hard on tarmac it wont lock up tried and tested by me . Well over gravel and sand you will screw up

                            • hi all, planning to upgrade ma zapper(q and d) to a new one, now after some research, got to know that
Michelin Pilot Sport and Michelin Sirac Street tyres are the best bet but still confused how much does these cost( i want both Front and rear) and other than these two is there any better alternates??
good handling/road grip is ma first preference.

                              thanks in advance.
