    You got your engine overhaul done right? I was thinking of the same. What exactly is done? I mean the engine engine is opened and the oil seals, gasket, o rings, etc. are changed right? Anything apart from the seals?

      Check for my older post,I had mentioned the exact parts changed.Also i bought,New gasket kit,oil seals, some o rings,changed tappet bolt.Thats all i have done.

          Hi, I am going to book my Karizma tomorrow. Wanted to know whether should I go for the extended warranty? What all things are covered under it? Will it be still valid even if I service it from ASS outside of Bangalore since I will move out of Bangalore 3 years from now. And yes you people are free to suggest me a colour as I am yet undecided on that front.

            Your old post doesnt mention anything about gasket kit and oil seals. Theres another post of yours where you mentioned about changing the piston rings.
            So all I could find is, change of some O rings and Piston rings but nothing mentioned about gasket kit and oil seals.

              Yeah,sorry,These are changed by the svc itself,I had bought them piston rings,gasket and oil seals.

                  @royzone..what bike? zmr or zma-r..
                  If zma-r then go for white or red, both are looking good IMO..if zmr go for black or famous color white..BTW in bangalore in which showroom you are going to book your bike..when will you get the delivery of bike..

                    Its Zma-R. I don't remember the name of showroom, but it is on the new Airport road (Hebbal road?) opposite to palace ground near Cauvery theater. Delivery may take 15-20 days.

                      Finally took some photos of Karizma 2006 model(Aneesh@4Ghz) and Karizma-R 2011 model.(ashwinprakas)

                      Afternoon 1pm,So pics was not so good as expected.











                      Guys check this pic,Both are turned to LEFT side maximum.But looking at this,I think new karizma has more turning radius,What do you think guys?

                          Yes,Old one had a yellow/Gold tint whereas new one has a black tint.

                                Nothing to calculate,just measure the gap,thats all.




                                Always LOCK the nuts tight to avoid loosening ,and increase in free play....if you see the pic above both nuts are tight on the retaining flange..
