Thanks for the procedure guys. But I need some clarification.
The ground wire is the one marked by the black rectangle in the below pic?Originally posted by santoosh View PostStep 1 . On the RHS of the bike , U ll find the Grounding wire on the Self motor Bolt. Use a ring and Open that.
Step 2. Once u have removed the wire , the Trip meter and CLock gets reset :-) Congrats
Step 3: Another bolt on the Self motor , remove it.
I assume the two screws are the ones pointed by the arrow. Do I also need to remove the cable marked by the blue circle?

I am kinda confused about the bold partOriginally posted by santoosh View PostStep 4: Come to the LHS of the bike , Take a screwdriver and a hammer and push the self motor Out..Little oil will come Out , Normal.
I mean where am I suppose to hit?
I will be needing the impact screwdriver for removing the screw in the center of the tensioner, right? Any other way to do it?Originally posted by santoosh View PostStep 5.Once self motor is out , U can see the tensioner easliy.
U ll need an impact screw driver to get the screw out .
Step 6. GEt it out ,Do whatever circus u want ..
Step 7:Step 6 to step 1 in reverse order.
I dont have an impact screwdriver, nor am I very clear about what it does.
You talking about the screws marked with blue and red arrow?Originally posted by psr View PostRemove the self motor gear cover by undoing the three bolts on the cover
The red arrow marked screw is not visible in the picture but can be seen on the bottom right side of the motor. Will post another picture if I am not clear.

On hitting the reserve you started calculating the kms correct? it ran 26.2 kms in reserve and you filled in 1 litre of petrol and after 2.2 kms run you again hit the reserve. The mileage would be 28.4 kms from the information you provided.Originally posted by ashwinprakas View PostHey everyone i have a query regarding reserve to reserve mileage calculation....

You had adjusted the AFR for cold start to 4 turns isn't it ? now turn the AFR screw clockwise by half turn and your FE will be better...talk to Aneesh and he will be able to help in this regard.Originally posted by ashwinprakas View PostYup bro... when my bike stalled i reset my trip put it to reserve and ran 26.2 before refilling with 1l and putting back to on.

Yes,your are right.Originally posted by harishsangwan View PostThe ground wire is the one marked by the black rectangle in the below pic?
Remove it,its a small nut.I assume the two screws are the ones pointed by the arrow. Do I also need to remove the cable marked by the blue circle?
Guess you need to hit the starter motor, Starter motor is connected to the gear(Thats the 16T sprocket on the left side, after removing the 2 screws) using a shaft.I am kinda confused about the bold part
I mean where am I suppose to hit?
Correct me if i am wrong.
Didn't heard of this,i used a allenkey unscrew it.I will be needing the impact screwdriver for removing the screw in the center of the tensioner, right? Any other way to do it?
I dont have an impact screwdriver, nor am I very clear about what it does.

Guess you don't have to unscrew the blue and red screws, its for dismantling the starter motor. You talking about the screws marked with blue and red arrow?
The red arrow marked screw is not visible in the picture but can be seen on the bottom right side of the motor. Will post another picture if I am not clear.

Anyone can correct me if i am wrong.

Fairing glass (the one where we stick the xbhp sticker) has got cracks all over the mounting points. Guess it was due to over tightening. Have to change that as well now! heck the only old part in my bike is the tank n middle panel. They got some crack to but will hold for atleast 6 months

Got my bike back from service...
As usal teflons just a rip-off... The drained my 240rs well spent gulf..and put in HH stock oil....
And they even teflon coated my SEAT!!! I almost had a spill due to lack of A.S.S grip...
And I've noted a major point regarding oils and their influence in double feedback issue...
1.My bike had double feedback issue..
2.Ran around town with aneesh on a hot hot day and when i went back to his house his bro tuned my clutch and double feedback was gone...
3.Today early morning took my bike out and noticed that double feedback was still there but little better than before tuning the clutch
4.Got my bike back with HH stock oil, bike was in standstill till i got there and took it.
5.Went home... On my way noticed that there wasnt double feedback at all...
Reason i believe is...
Higher grade oil takes more time to warm up than cheap HH stock oil...
Can someone shed some light on the above..Motorcycling Experience:

The HH oil is thinner and with heat becomes more thin.. this means the clutch plates can disengage easily and friction between plates reduced...hence the gears change easily...Originally posted by ashwinprakas View Post4.Got my bike back with HH stock oil, bike was in standstill till i got there and took it.
