Before opening up the engine I suggest you to check if the led is working. Mine was not working and it was the led problem. Then changed both those led's. Costed hardly 10 bucks to replace.

The neutral light is working fine, at SVC they checked it by opening the front sprocket case and tested using screw driver, hitting to that plate and it worked fine.

One of the problem of ZMA is when you get the engine running moderately rich, it is difficult not to Rip the bike....I am running a little rich and only during the early stages of ownership was doing 50 to 60 Kmph..now in city itself I am exceeding 80 Kmph.(when cops are not looking)..My FE is 32 now..whereas I was getting about 35 before...
Check your Air filter , and tire air pressure .

You have to pull the choke to start,which means that you are running LEAN AFR..First locate the AFR screw...then Gently turn it ANTICLOCKWISE by half a turn.(180 degrees).and then see if you still have COLD start problem.If so turn the screw another half a turn anti clock wise..your problem will be solved.
First download the ZMA manual and go through it to understand the parts .Aneesh@4Ghz Signature has the Link to the ZMA Manual.

After 6 years do not use Synth..Use JASO MA2 certified 20w40 MINERAL oil..Gulf pride 4 T , Shell AX series, Motul mineral,Vavoline 4T......Since Castrol has many duplicates do not use it.

The original Wheels are Enki imported wheels..I had heard of people saying the bent wheel can be corrected....If it is small it is ok otherwise go for replacement as the Wheel IS A SAFETY RELATED COMPONENT, and a compromise may be a compromise on your LIFE.

Yes The SVC is right .. there is a contact plate for neutral indication on the Gear Shift drum, which through use, wears out and to replace it you have to split the crankcase.

6. Now, the front fairing has started to give 'Khud-khud' noise when it goes from a small pot-hole, checked it but didn't find any broken joints or loose bolts. What could be the reason ?
Check under the front fairing , you will see a bracket from chassis to left and right side to which the fairing will be bolted.If this is loose then you will get the sound.

Do give your input guys, your suggestions would be really helpful.

I don't think starting the bike by pulling choke is an ISSUE. The very purpose of the choke is to over come starting problem anytime. If your bike does not start EVEN if you pull the choke then there is an issue. Does it take a mountainous effort to pull the choke?

Follow the advise of PSR if you are not able to get the vehicle started at all.

Sir,guess mileage is reduced due to my riding styles such as:

Ripping @ 100km/h
Sometimes changing gear @ 7k rpm
I am 90Kg and mostly carry a pillion,99%,he will be of 90 or 100kg

From these all,i guess,i got a very good mileage figure.

So do i need to turn it clockwise?

and i had replaced airfilter 2 days back, posted pic too.

Yes considering the "treatment" it is getting the FE is ok...still give it a try...HALF A TURN CLOCKWISE to make the AFR lean.
Sorry forgot about Air Filter.....answering too many queries on same subject...here and elsewhere.....

Sir,again why should i make it leaner? For more FE? Will my throttle response decrease?

Yes i thought you wanted better FE....it will make the throttle response a bit less in 1 to 3 K rpm...just try it...you can always revert back when you want...

Actually i am not a mileage lover,I only the need optimal mileage for the bike's performance.So will check mileage next time with sane riding and will post the results here,if its low,then i will think about making it leaner.

What do you say about this?
