I forgot to mention another important thing. The chain adjustment setting thats there on both sides of the swingarm, its differs from one and the other. I did ask the mechanic to fix it and he did some adjustment but the markings are still different. When asked him about it, he replied in greek and dint really make much sense.

If you look at how the wheel is fitted to the swing arm, you will see a nut on the right side and one on the left.. Loosen both by one full turn. You will also see at the end of swing arm a small nut on both sides...adjust this to get equal readings on both sides.....Remember it is the chain tightening nut, so after you had corrected the marks on both sides, rotate the rear wheel and see if it is free. You can see the chain through the inspection hole in the lower, center part of chain guard. if the chain becomes too tight while rotating the wheel loosen the small nuts at the end of the swing arm to make the chain loose and not binding.Originally posted by harishsangwan View PostI forgot to mention another important thing. Not at all. Here what I was referring to:
What if these nuts are not at the same mark? What happens, I mean what does it actually do?Originally posted by psr View PostIf you look at how the wheel is fitted to the swing arm, you will see a nut on the right side and one on the left.. Loosen both by one full turn.

There is no marking for the nuts, ....if you look from behind the rear wheel,....the one on the right side , is the Rear wheel Axle fastening nut and on the left a bigger nut to fasten the sprocket assembly .Originally posted by harishsangwan View Post

Talking about the adjuster index marks that can be seen near the two Axle nuts. Some deep be vertical lines when facing the adjuster from the side.Originally posted by psr View PostThere is no marking for the nuts, ....if you look from behind the rear wheel,....the one on the right side , is the Rear wheel Axle fastening nut and on the left a bigger nut to fasten the sprocket assembly .
Heres what the Users Manual says: "Align the adjuster index marks with the corresponding scale graduation on both sides of the swingarm"
Hope this time I made it clear

Yes its a direct fit. Go with NGK Iridium & enjoy the miles.Originally posted by harishsangwan View PostEnquired about the NGK Iridium here, costing 520/- and the G-Power will be under 200/-
Since these are made for a particular bike, I guess I wont have to do any gap checking or anything right? Just plug and play I suppose...?

. Thats what "psr" has been talking all along. Btw, I never trust mechanics to set them right. I do them myself. Especially after rear punctures.

I knew it already, I was trying to explain it to psr so I could get my doubt answered. Whats happens if the adjustment index marks are at different points?Originally posted by kaynmantis View PostOh Nuts! You finally got it

Simple, Chain, sprocket, rear tyre would wear out faster. Chain would start to make Dolby prologic 2 sort of noises. And handling would be funny!Originally posted by harishsangwan View PostI knew it already, I was trying to explain it to psr so I could get my doubt answered. I hope my language did not offend you. It was intended in good humour. Any way if index markers are at different points, you adjust them so they are at the same point. Or as "onlinesatish" said, it'll have adverse effects. It also means the wheel alignment are off and bike will run slightly sideways.Originally posted by harishsangwan View PostI knew it already, I was trying to explain it to psr so I could get my doubt answered. Retro Fitting Amaron 9Ah MF Battery in karizma (2011 Version)
Guys, bought Amaron 9Ah MF battery 2 days back and got fixed it yesterday with some mods. Here it is:
Amaron 9Ah MF battery-1650RS(Kollam,Kerala) Only 4 Years Warranty,2 Years replacement and 2years repair.Company had reduced the warranty due to loss with 5year warranty.

Bended the clamp at the beginning.

Then made the another end as L.

Bolted the clamps,Its perfect.
Thanks to the welder,A rikshaw welder, but done exactly as my order.
NB:Bending the cage fill reduce its length,So i have to add piece by welding.

Battery Seated in place.

After connecting the terminals.

You can see side open after fixing the side body flat screw,But its ok,i it will fit correctly if we push it and it wont jump out when we enter a pothole or something,It's completely fit.

Welding charges RS20,Total RS1670.
