Im 110+kg's and after every long trip(hard ripping) the chain becomes so loose that it fouls with the main stand.
I weigh 105 and i am gentle on the acceleration. This happens right from starting the bike in the morning for the first time as well.

And as mentioned earlier, i have been using this setup for 2 yrs now. Never had any issues of this sort. Just started all of a sudden a week back. Have checked everything right from wheel alignment, adjusting the slackness of the chain, removing and refitting the chain cover, etc, but it still keeps reappearing.

No problem , the excess oil just drips off/goes away by itself in a couple of hundred kilos . Bike will run a bit rich mix until then . I dunno if that oil you used is synthetic (?) - remember that synthetic oils are not usable to oil foam air-filters - doesn't work . Nice filter there , but how do you plan to keep it dry in rains or while washing the bike ?

Bikes running exceptionally rich now, that it reminds me of the stock days, when the motor mildly knocks when I keep it at WOT. The oil is mineral or so I assume. Its green in color. Castrol Power 1 2T.

Before this was using Cosworth, heres a pic of it @6k.

Ran it through all possibly imaginable riding conditions, once while raining the bike fell and was in a pool of water with the filter region submerged. Bike started and ran without any issues. So am sure I wont face any issues with UNI as well. The difference is that the ZMA due to its larger venturi has comparatively very low intake velocity, I've observed water droplets being present at the carb mouth and yet not being pulled in with the throttle at WOT.

                • Umm okay . Plus foam filters being the type that is most resilient to moisture and that it continues to function even when partially wet and having the maximum dirt-load capacity (which is why dirt bikes have it) , I think you may get away with that .
The way to oil it is to pour on the oil little bit in excess , roll the filter in both palms and squeeze alternately without twisting it to spread the oil inside-out well . Then finally squeeze it tightly as hard as you can in one palm to take out all the excess oil you can drip off . Roll it in newspaper lightly and fit . It should give you oily fingers if you pinch it but no oil should drip . Thats correctly done . You can use sae 80 or 90 gear oil or 20w40/20w50 motor oil .

Curiosity got the best of me, everyone using free flows complain of bike missing a few beats when riding in the rain, so after picking the bike up from the puddle, I hit the starter and it came to life and to satisfy my doubt whether water is entering the filter I pulled out the filter with the engine still running and to my amazement there was a puddle of water inside the filter and carb mouth, but no matter how much throttle I give it sits there, doesnt gets sucked into the block. And I believe after warming up it'll evaporate due to engine heat and cause no issues.

                          • today i changed front disc pad, rear brake shoe both are ask make.front caliper dust cap stud(brkt assy) got jammed in caliper body which caused uneven wear of those old pads, one wear out completely and other is still 50% remaining, making those braket assly stud free is real pain,so i think time to time lubrication and complete service of caliper while changing brake pads will ensure long life of caliper and other parts.

                              • Hi, I came across this site Saferide ABS they manufacture Mechanical ABS for Indian motorcycles.

As the website says - Saferide is applicable to a wide range of Indian Motorcycles having Disc Breaks, viz. Honda, Hero Honda, Yamaha, Bajaj, TVS Motors, Suzuki India and many more…

Anyone has tried this product or do you anyone who has ?
